Looks like its coming back but this time on Channel 9.
The new twist that every house mate has a secret doesn't seem that creative.

CONTROVERSIAL reality series Big Brother is set for a relaunch.

A 2012 version of the one-time ratings smash hit is destined for Channel Nine.

Rival Channel Ten sought to bid on the reborn series, titled Big Brother: Secrets, but it is understood Nine signed the deal today.

"I understand we are doing it,” a Nine source confirmed.

It is believed that Nine is also determined to let viewers know it won’t be the same old Big Brother, which slipped into ratings decline in its eighth and final season on Ten.

The new show will be marketed as Big Brother: Secrets ... every housemate has a secret."

Well, The Block was a hit in 2003 and again in 2011, so why not dust off another classic reality show, except give it a twist, like every house mate has a secret. How cool would that be?

I didn't really like BB that much when it was on, but it was a hell of a lot better than that wankfest 7PM project so I hope it does come back.

The only season of Big Brother I watched was the first season, then they really dragged out the nobs after that

Fine by me. Outside the cricket I don't think there's a single show on Nine, Go or Gem that I watch anyway. Wasted channel either way.
So long as it doesn't somehow lead "news" on every network and newspaper as it used to, and things like Masterchef and Idol still do. Honestly, how can a glorified 3 month game show lead a "news" package in any form?

Its a slightly different format. Its called Big Brother Secrets. Everyone who goes in the house will have a secret and its up to the housemates to find out what said secret actually is. If Kerry rolled over in his grave atleast hes now facing the right way after hearing the format of the show

I remember Big Brother Uncut. I was in my early teens when it first started airing and i remember watching every episode and then going to school and discussing it in great detail with my friends.
