If Michael Beer was still around he could have made a good pairing with Sangha...Tanveer Sangha is gonna be a superstar.
Glad the Thunder are gone.
Well that's the weirdest run out I've seen since Adam Zampa ran out a guy with his nose.Wow!!

Cricket has ‘never seen something like this’
If you think you’ve seen it all in cricket, think again.www.news.com.au
Yep I assumed the thunder were going to win it once Usman came back. Luckily Billings had to bailTanveer Sangha is gonna be a superstar.
Glad the Thunder are gone.
I love the way the Scorchers have responded to hubs and hardship. A sign of maturity that they have used to their advantage. That was something expected from the Eagles in 2020 and 2021. Our boys should take inspiration from our cricketers and get with the programme as the 2022 looks like it will be bloody tricky
The difference is, we're the only team in the comp that has to do it.How many interstate and overseas players at the Scorchers?
Crickers travel away from home for months every single year.
The difference is, we're the only team in the comp that has to do it.
A lot of the cricketers in the squad are domestic so don't really travel.
You're also not factoring in we've only had one home game.
You can spin it anyway you like, win lose or draw it's been a huge effort.
We had to play a home grand final in Canberra, despite the WACA being available. Everything else is moot. Why was lastnight's game between Sydney and Adleaide played in Melbourne? The winner goes on to play at the SCG, so why didn't the Thunder get to play lastnight's game in Sydney? Something something covid?
How do you work out that BBL cricketers travel more and for longer than say WC?Its not spin saying BBL cricketers travel more and for longer periods than AFL players and clubs.
It is a normal aspect of playing top level cricket. When you sign up for it you know what is expected and what is coming.
Hubbing AFL sides is not normal nor did players sign up to spend months away from home.
Apples v oranges.
And Im not taking anything away from the Scorchers, good on them but they are much better prepared to handle this than AFL players. Thats the point.
CA said all off of the finals in the first week were to be held in Melbourne. Why was lastnight's game between Sydney and Adleaide played in Melbourne? The winner goes on to play at the SCG, so why didn't the Thunder get to play lastnight's game in Sydney? Something something covid?
Have you considered the financial opportunities in working sponsors into the commentary?
How do you work out that BBL cricketers travel more and for longer than say WC?
Fourteen games a year and usually 7 at home.
The comp only goes for 2 months.
Yep, but you still didn't answer the question of how BBL players travel more that AFL players. If they are good enough to play BBL they also play elsewhere.
If you want to make it in top level cricket you are prepared to travel and for long periods. That's the gig. You know this before you sign up.
IPL, English county cricket etc.
Yep, but you still didn't answer the question of how BBL players travel more that AFL players.
No one was talking about other competitions.
We're talking BBL/AFL.
Yep, I liked him. Seemed to be a bit of a whipping boy but I never understood the hate.Do you guys rate Mark Nicholas as a commentator? I always liked him tbh and he was one person from 9 that 7 or foxtel should have poached.
