Wyllie might need some time in the magoos during the BBL season to get his confidence back.

Cartwright has also stunk since coming back from injury.

Bancroft carrying the batting in the second innings. Running out of partners though although Stobo is probably our last batting partnership until Bancroft has to farm the strike with Rocchicciolli and Morris. Hopefully we can at least get A lead even though we will very likely lose this game (only rain can save us now).

Phillippe has some technical faults at FC level where the ball moves for longer and a pitch tends to be a bit more bowler friendly than in limited overs, a first class average of 28 even as a keeper is just not good enough nowadays. Cartwright hasn't found his groove yet and out of form after injury, Turner also not at his best. Wyllie lost his confidence and his technique maybe suspect although he needs time out of the BBL to improve on his technique and confidence for FC batting especially if he wants to play for Australia.

We are too overreliant on our openers and our middle order is simply out of form. Hardie is a huge loss as he would've stabilized our batting (guarantee we don't collapse from 2-85 to 7-92 if he plays) and gives us an extra bowling option.

Surely Bancroft has to be Warner's successor, question though "Is his technique improved enough for a second stint at international level?"

The real question is, who else is there?

The next big things - Renshaw, Puckovski etc for various reasons, none of them have panned out.

Henry Hunt from SA is the one I'm hoping continues to kick on
