Big footy subscriptions!

So i was having a look at the subscription prices for big footy.

The main thing i noticed was that it was in US dollars?

Is there a reason for this?

Is the most active australian football forum run by seppos?

As a side note, what benifits will i get from subscribing apart from an avatar? I think i will subscribe anyways, i dont feel right taking so much for free. But interested to hear everones take....

I think it's because this site is tacked onto the American run, Big Soccer website.
It's about $13-14AUD for a subscription, which I suppose would go towards maintaining the site etc.

There's a thread on that somewhere in the suggestions board.

A forum is nothing without the posters, do not feel bad for taking "so much" for free. You will be treated as a number, not a member ANYWAY.

A bit like local free newspapers. They need readers in order to obtain advertising dollars. But I do find it difficult to criticise something I get for nothing.
