Agree. However, I think if we axe Bowden we won't win while he is out of the team. Fact is he is still our best defender. I think the fact that Wallace has pubilciy stated that he is under the pump should be enough for the next couple of weeks. If he does nothing after this, then he should be sent back to Coburg.

I can't see what Polak has done so far this year, he should not play for RFC this week based on his first 3 performances. I think he has been our worst so far this year. He won't be dropped though because we're going over to Perth.

Pettifer won't play due to his suspension and then may get a week at Coburg after that before going back to AFL, Tivdendale will probably be dropped this week

Not anymore chum, Moore has made a much greater contribution than JB, he should have had a free ride with Thursty and Moore taking the tuff jobs, instead zero impact...He needs a fair kick up the clacker , he's much better than that

It amazes me that you're putting Deledio in a different class to Bling, when only 2 draft selections seperate them.

If Deledio is going to be marked like that, Bling should've been axed 100 times over by now.

Polak has been played in the wrong position so far this year, he isn't a backman, he is a forward, he just needs to know how to kick for goal, he can take a grab, he is pretty quick on the lead, so use his strengths, he is not a man on man backman, because he can't use his body.

Bowden needs to be played on the Tall Forwards, why he was put on Medhurst I'll never know.

Pettifer I agree with, let Morton take his position, and he will be better.

Simmo has just come back from a fair time out, needs to regain some form, if Gus is fit then drop Simmo back for a match and let him get some form and fitness.

Browny needs more of a go in the middle, let him create, or stick him at the feet of Richo and let him crumb everything.

Deledio has been far from our worst, but does need to lift earlier in games, also needs to be kicking 2-3 goals a game.

Also, when Cogs gets fit, drop Tucky, his disposal is disgusting, winning it in a contest is good, giving it to the opposition not so much.

He isn't too slow though, he is good on a lead, and can kick 50m BTW, he just needs to be able to kick goals, Dennis Commeti said numerous times that he was a Forward as a junior, so he just needs to regain whatever made him so good as a junior.

I was shocked how easily Cloke pushed him aside on Sunday when Medhurst (IIRC) centered the ball from ther forward pocket, either Polak didn't give a shite or he is a lot softer than I had thought.

Funny you say that... you ask any Bulldog supporter and they'll give you exactly the same feeling as when Wallace coached them.

Johnson, Grant, Darcy, West, etc, etc... were very well known for only passing it to their mates. They never, ever brought in the blokes around them.

Unfortunately for him, he is one of the main reasons we have been losing these games, we have been winning or close to equal opposition in clearances but we keep giving the ball up from the centre, so many times he hands the ball to the opposition or kicks it nowhere, he tries hard but just doesn't have the skill.

I don't think it is physical strength as much as body positioning. He seems to me to be a guy who is not used to muscling up on a player and holding his ground, and that may be why he did so well as a lose man last year.

BJ, take it from me, its one of those, "we need to do something to seem like we are doing something" things. Take it from me, next week, IN Bowden & Pettifer. Same old same old shit. I mean, Bowden will have a holiday at Coburg, make sure that he isnt injured, knowing full well that he is in next week. Big ____ing deal, big lesson there isnt it?
