A big thanks to the wonderful and helpful staff at Thomastown Clive Peeters not only did we get to meet/speak and have a photo with Dusty/Axel and Dan Connors but for Members only also saved a small packet on a new dryer for the better half. Kids are happy after seeing and meeting some of their heroes. Missus is happy as she has the new dryer she wanted. I am happy cause they are happy...

Might even tap her on the shoulder tonight.........Nah why ruin a good night...

Once again thanks to RFC and also to Clive Peeters...it was eeeeeeeeeasy!!!

Only got the text about this tonight. Where was it publicised?

I have had one if not two emails about it in recent weeks, We had been planning and waiting for this for a while. I had intended to purchase a new dryer and helf off waiting to see what the sponsors could come up with. I was think it would be a 5-10 dollar saving....Boy was I wrong

Helpful service.
A couple of free drinks
Meet and Greet with a couple of players including Dusty.
and to top it off almost 200 bucks off a $600 purchase.. Could not be happier.

Just got back home after a Clive Peeters tour of Melbourne.

Started with the young lad at Moorabbin store.

* Ty Vickery and Jake Batchelor - photos, signatures etc. No Jack Riewoldt or Shane Tuck as advertised. Got Ty though, fresh from his 4 goal game. Understand Shane may not have physically heard the request for his attendance. Not sure about Jack. Anyway, someone from the club got my son's details and will send him something... All good, but youngster a little disappointed about no Jack.

So....

* Drove then to Thomastown, queued up for 30 mins only to be told that Dusty was going home at 8pm, and that we needn't bother queuing. Nearly wrestled the Tiger mascot in attendance, and told him (the truth) that we'd driven from Mornington and we weren't going anywhere. Even the prospect of a 'don't argue' from Dusty was worth the risk.

Got the nod, and got signatures, photos and bit of chance to chat to Dan Connors, Dusty and Alex Foley.

Ate the free food, pocketed some Tigers posters for my 4 y.o and got the hell out. Arrived back in windy Mornington about a hour back.

Awesome stuff. However, I must report I didn't give any of the products at Clive Peeters even a passing glance. They couldn't have given away a 100 inch 3D TV for $1, and I wouldn't have noticed.

For the question from earlier, got a letter in the mail and an email and text.

Top night.

Son says in car on way home, "Dad, this was the best night ever".

Lol, nice work Craig... Happy wife, happy life ;)

And good story Dave, glad the young'un enjoyed himself :thumbsu:

I only went to the Moorabbin one. Good turn out from the supporters but to just have Vickery and Batchelor was a bit disappointing considering. Jack didn't go because of 'personal reasons' and Clive Peeters said they were notified at 5:30.

Savings didn't seem that drastic either.

But it was a good idea and with alot of kids around the store, I think they enjoyed it which is the main thing.

Did Dan Connors mention when he'd be back playing?

Reckoned he "could" play, but needs another week.
Also suggested it was more up to the medical staff than his own opinion...?

MR BIRREL do you have shares in Clive Peters nowadays since you left your last contract with HP??

Big sell there bud, but its always good to support the club sponsors, good to see. We should all be doing the same.

I need a new fridge, TV upgrade, PVR and an apple mac so I might see what they can do for me.

Go Clive Peters.

I read the email wrong - Went to Carl Pietersons!!!!!! We had cask of red wine and a few beers so wasn't all bad. Relton even swung by with a couple of hamburgers!

As the person who posts the stuff, I often ask how do people not see it?

We had an email go to our entire database
