Firstly a massive thanks to the club for allowing me the opportunity and access to speak with Adem, it has been a wonderful experience and journey so far.

Enjoy!

Well done, got to take my hat off to you here. Some nice access for the fans, interview handled professionally, well done.

Hi Sregit,

Nope not being careful at all, just genuinely excited about our future and hopes for some of our players, which I’ll never make any apologies for!

Don’t really think there is a need to be making videos targeting players on why they won’t make it when we are 2 months into the pre season.

Much rather celebrate the players doing well and having some fun trying to work out where they fit.

After last year’s delisting I don’t believe there is a player on the list that couldn’t play in our afl side at this point in time in some capacity. (excluding first year players)

Have made previous videos of players out of contract who may be in danger on the chopping block, if that’s more what you’re after, see below

But in short it’s an independent show with our own views but I just prefer to have a positive outlook for the most part.

Hi Michael’s.
I have seen this video and unfortunately it hit home to me what a poor state our list is in. As players are on our list for 2026, it’s probably in our interest to at least view them for a better part of the season before calling time on them. I actually think there were 2 or 3 players on your safe list that could have been added to the uncertain list. I have been impressed with our recruiting but see that there will be at least 8-12 players that will need to be moved on from that list in the next 2/3 years. I personally could name 5-6 that I believe are no hope long term but understand your reluctance to do so.
Can I ask you how many of the 19 listed players do you think would get a game at Brisbane? That’s the level we need to aspire to. I realise we can not move on all of the 19 listed and I expect one or two to improve but we as a club will need to weed out those that can not be part of a list that can truly contend.

The real question is which players are unlikely to reach a standard good enough to compete in a premiership team?

The question you pose isn't really relevant though is it, cause we aren't brisbane, we aren't in a phase of football where we are anywhere near brisbane.

thats something we have to work towards and we will know more about in 3-4 years.

The reason the question isn't really relevant is because of our list profile and the amount of players we have under 50 games, under 30 games, under 20 games.

we have to get all of these players game time to see what we have to work with long term. That's our reality, that's what we are dealing with, so it's the only reality worth considering or discussing until we have a same games played / age profile as those other clubs.

A good response and yes the list will evolve. There are players on that list that I’d be willing to call out as not good enough. I see posters calling for certain players to NOT be played and getting hammered for their calls as being negative. If we all never made any calls on players not being up to the standard, then what a shit boring site this would be. Difference of opinion is what makes the site worth visiting.

Instead of posters lambasting another poster for calling out a player as not good enough or poor, maybe they should just debate his merit. I think we all have players we like and tend to support their retention over others, even when no real improvement has been shown over time.

Keep up the video. Like it.

Question to you? How many of Brisbanes current premiership team would be above or better then our best team right now without the top and mid tier support. Brisbanes top and middle tier are at their peak. Ours are either passed or developing. Players like Gallop Marshall Morris even Lohmann would struggle in our team without that support around them.
The holes in our list are mid tier. 50-120 games. But it’s coming and at a rapid rate.

Better still ask yourself out of Butler Townsend Castagna 2017 Rioli Ellis Grigg would get a kick in today’s team

The midfield of Hopper, Taranto, Prestia and Ross is a worry
Well same old same old.

Does sound like we will aim for more movement and transition. Hopefully involving some younger players.

I don’t know why people expect us to throw the young guys to the wolves from day dot. 2026 was always going to be another transition year, more exposure and midfield time for our younger players. 2027 I think we will see major change
