Carlton vs Collingwood 1986
Watching Wayne Johnston unload two barrels from the centre square resulting in goals. Braddles taking 4 bounces along the boundary and goals on the southern stand side. Dennis Banks knocking Rhys Jones out after Rhys had got him earlier. I was only 6 years old but remember it well.

On the siren goals to snatch a win (or close to on the siren) are huge...

- Walker set shot at Etihad against St.K a few years ago
- Fev from the boundary against Adel in Adel
- Minton-Connel at Princes Park against (IIRC) the unbeatable WC
- Brock's goal vs Richmond quite recently

Here's hoping that ends up as the second best footy period of your life (or third? Ok, now I'm pushing it)...

lol. Sure hope so but I am ok, if I will never see the equal of again. Not expecting to see as good again but as long as we win a premiership or three in next decade I will be happy. I give us six years from now to snag one and will be content to enjoy the journey see from bottom to top. I actually enjoy seeing the club finally have a draft strategy after two decades of not having any.

Yes, I was there. We were about 45 points down at one stage. Ended up winning by about 3 goals. Warren Ralph kicked a bag and little Fraser Murphy sparked the forward line to run over the Dees. I'm not sure I witnessed a game in person we come back from as far to win but Melbourne were pretty crap back then and we were a shell of a side that year based on how much talent was actually on our list. I enjoyed the comeback but was more annoyed how out of form we were to be down that far in first place. It does not rate highly for me as a buzz. Was more glad we just escaped on that day.
We seemed to get no momentum with form or clear run from injuries in that year. We made the finals but were way off the top two teams. Click at about 15 minute mark of this video for a brief look at highlights of that game against Melbourne at the G.

Remember this game well. I was sitting there at half time thinking if we don't pull our finger out in the 3rd quarter, I may not feel like staying around until the end. Fortunately we did turn things around & I was glad I stuck around.

was there - called it a goal once he marked it. no one around me agreed.

hugs all round afterwards.

didnt tell them of my allegience. ;)

When Chris Judd kicked that goal in the last quarter against Richmond in the Elimination final 2013. I get goose bumps thinking about it. The noise was like nothing ive ever experienced. Ill never forget thst day. Very special too me.

Enjoy my avatar - taken from AFL Members in last quarter.

Makes me smile every time I look at it - especially remembering how "up and about" the Tiggers supporters were in the first half.

Loudest and most crazy buzz here at the G was 70 odd thousand v Hawthorn where we blitzed the last quarter only for Fev to hit the post from 25 out and we went down by a few points. The crowd was just so loud even rivaling the 2013 EF against the Tigs

Was at that one.

Was sitting next to 20 guys from the Canadian military.

They had flown in the day before and went to the footy before going to join our soldiers the next day.

Probably the only game of AFL they will ever see - lucky to see a bloody good one!!

That would have twisted their minds.

I still remember it like it was yesterday it was so surreal as the Blue crowd went up on Fev's last kick and the cheers turned into tears when that hit the post it was such a weird swing on the ball to hit the post.

Hands down 99 prelim. Nothing comes close. Ordinary side in a shock win against the Premiership favourites. Only ever though we had a chance to win after the Brown tackle. The look on the faces of the * supporters was priceless. was

The comeback from 48pts down against * in 2007 a distant second given the beltings we had received over the previous 5 years and it was looking like another 100pt loss. there

excuse my intrusion but may i say...
1969-70 games against Carlton were electric in terms of game and atmosphere... brutal yet brilliant football by both teams... as a kid i felt quite safe both a Princes and Victoria Park... the old press box rocked at Princes Park...
