New gameplay:

Dat song! Jizz!

Game is looking good, just hoping that the delays weren't because the game was shit and that they've just needed the time to make it as perfect as possible. I have faith in Levine.

Pre-ordering gets you access to the 'Industrial Revolution', a flash based puzzle game with 59 puzzles.

Playing and finishing the flash game will give you access to bonus items in Infinite such as cash and gear, it will also give some backstory to the world you're about to enter.

Here's some footage of the flash based game:

Chucked a pre-order in store today but asking about the minigame thingo completely slipped my mind.

Maybe Glenno23 can enlighten me as to what I should do? EB's website says to call through to their customer service team to get the code, but it states that that's just for online orders? Should I call anyways?

Yeah, i'd call them. Or pop back into the store, whatever's easier

did you use an EB World card when ordering? If so, customer service may see on your account you have ordered and email a code through

I offered it to the guy but he said to wait a moment while he got my pre-order details. He never asked for the card...

;__;

Nothing in relation to my EB world card. I think he just forgot to...

Oh well, I'll just give the customer service guys a call tomorrow and if worse comes to worse I'll just have to take another trip in I suppose. You guys have the cards/codes instore, right?

Customer service are pretty good. I'm sure they'll sort it for you

Gave them a buzz and it went by pretty smooth. The girl didn't even ask for anything pertaining to my pre-order, just asked if I had done so and then proceeded to give me the code.

Played about ten levels so far, it's nothing special. Pretty much your typical gears based puzzler (Geared on iOS anyone?). There's a couple of decisions you can make which ultimately decide what bonus you get but there's not much more to it. The 'backstory' it gives you is very disjointed and fragmented.

Delayed until March 26th now to "add more polish".

Since the new producer arrived he has cut Multiplayer and now delayed the game for a month. Hopefully something good arrives after all this.

Just for clarification, they never had multiplayer, so it wasn't ever cut from the game. They toyed with ideas, but in the end, nothing worked. And to be fair, it's probably for the best anyway since Bioshock 2's was apparently arse.

Anyway, the box art for Infinite was released a little bit ago, and it was absolutely boring generic fair. Levine has since come out and said it was done to get more of an audience to buy the game (obviously a distinct lack of confidence in their product - VERY disappointing).

But to make up for it, Irrational are going to offer a reversible cover and you can vote on what one you want to see on the reversible side. You will also be able to print off a bunch more once the game is released.

I'll link the covers that they're offering up as I don't want to fill this page with a bunch of images. But I think it's fairly obvious the one that they want to be the main cover on the reversed side (the 'Resistance 3'-ish styled one - the 4th one below).

I like your posts most of the time. They are informative and well written. But sometimes you just get on my nerves because you are a bit of a "know-it-all".

Just for clarification, the game DID have multiplayer. It was worked on. Numerous sites have reported it, and the devs themselves have mentioned.

Damn, using info literally taken from the last day against me? Fairo.

Although prior to yesterday the info coming out was that multiplayer was barely anything but a pipe dream of development ideas.

And let's face it, you don't like me because I don't have a Sega boner.;):(

I had read months ago, maybe as far back as June-July that the devs were boasting that Bioshock Infinite's Multiplayer was going to be setting a new bar as far as multiplayer games go. This was what spurred me to put a preorder (the top CE) in for it as I knew that the PC version would be a Steam game (which it is) and that with steam games you can almost always wait a few months and get it at 75+% off Australian retail prices. When I read that it had been pulled I withdrew my preorder and put it on other games instead. The staff said that I wasn't close to being the first person to cancel a preorder for it and that they'd never seen anything like it - not sure if it was for the same reasons but regardless it is not a positive sign.

seriously, who really cares about this... first world problems...

It's pretty hard to justify spending $80+ on a single player only game... you get what 15-20 hours and that's it. I loved the first two games, but I picked them up dirt cheap and don't mind waiting (for this) to do the same I think.

So you still can't admit you were wrong? You tried to correct me, but didn't know all the info.

Couldn't give a shit if you don't like Sega. You also don't like Nintendo & Microsoft because you are a fanboy. No biggie.

Where was I not admitting anything?

And I don't dislike Nintendo or Microsoft.
