Nah unfortunaetly will have to wind back some of my the time i spent in reecent seasons with nelsons and port stephens juniors because of work commitmnets.

Sure still got the shoal bay newsagents, more of a hobby then anything, but lately been between pitwater and rushcuttrs bay marina's a 3-4days a weak in a sales and marketing role thats actuly going well considering.

Was gunna play in the sydney league but their actually quiet crap the teams down there. none of them can beat BDAFl teams. Decided to toatlly dominte the 1st division and try and bring home the triple (Win the flag, win the League B&F and win the club B&F)

Would def love to have more time to give more back its just a lack of time not desire

You should give me your details. My boss is heavily involved in sailing around the Pittwater area and my uncle on the Central Coast. That is unless you are a lying w***er who likes to talk himself up at every opportunity?

My early Prediction is that you are way off the mark with you tips for round 1 deitzy hahaha.

Cardiff are terrible City comfortably by 5 goals+.

Add a 1 on to your 45 and you might get close. Terrigal by 145. gong to at least kick 10 - 15. Gus and co to dominate. Van Dams are pansy's though.

Warners bay should win well 3 to 6 goals. Youth policy won't last at killarney Vale.

I wouldn't write Lake Mac off against Gosford I reckon there could be an upset with the loses of Walford and Co.

League medalist will be Josh Molan.

Gosford to finish Bottom 2.

Sportingpulse Medalist Tadd Walford.

my ice pack is with my climbing supplys that i used when climbing everest. i know pete is generous as he was on that same expidition. but gosford only recently became that way and he has not had a chance to redirect his accounts. but i do know he donates very heavily to to production of home and away

What's the deal with the 18's being reduced to having 16 players on the field and 6 on the bench? Anyone know what the reason behind it is and what positions will be removed?

The reason is that several clubs are struggling to get an under 18 team. Minimum numbers for an u18s match is only 12. A coach can remove whatever positions he wants to.
I saw an entertaining 14 a side match between W Bay & Lake Macq last season.... plenty of running was done by all.
Perhaps SOME, not all, u18 matches should be played after an u16s match on a Friday night as a trial in 2010.

Bingo Pete - your full of .....

Why don't you put your money were you mouth is and actually put something back into the code instead of playing with yourself and dreaming about it.

Nelson Bay, Port Stephens Juniors and the Under 16 Northern Sharks team are all looking for sponsors. With all that money you have maybe you could afford a shirt and a jacket for every player - say 80 + 80 + 25 = 185 players at say $100 each. This would be small change to you...

I am at training every Thursday night at the Bay so you know where to find me!

PUT UP OR SHUT UP.

Whoa. With an attitude like that it is no wonder you are still searching for sponsors

Wyong and Lake Mac on struggle street early on......
The thrashings they received are not good for the BDAFL.
I thought Wyong and Lake Mac "recruited well".....

City are in trouble as well after getting hammered first round by an almighty Cardiff.
Hawks looking big favourites.

Any match reports??

Caught the Gosford V Lake MacQuarie game on Saturday.
The game started quickly with a lot of enthusiasm, with Gosford getting on top early. The new Gosford coach seems to have created an atmosphere where the players want to play for each other and that was evident in the 1st half.
The Crows got the better of the Tigers in the 3rd quarter with some good play, and hard work. No23 for the crows (I think it is Hodge) was becoming a handful. Gosford came out in the last quarter and really amped up the endeavour to run out convincing winners.
Dennis Cardwell seemed to relish in his late call up with 9 or 10 goals. Tim Eather proved strong in the air and finished with 5 (although he missed a few shots he should have nailed), and Ben Lester was great off the back line looking very fit and injury free.
Lake Macquarie should look positively at there season as there were good signs in that dominant 3rd quarter.
If Gosford keep listening to their coach and believing in each other, they may be up for better showings this season. Things will need to improve against the likes of Cardiff next week, but they will be bolstered by the return of Steven Church, Luke Aylett and Richardson next week who were all missing.

How can a club look positively in a season being beaten by 10+ goals?

What does everyone think about games being played Sunday this week with ANZAC Day?
Should the league have gone with all ANZAC Day games?

the sunday games aren't a bad idea, i think its more to do with the shortage of umpires....

i also watched a bit of the warners kv game, and was surprised kv won they not as bad as i thought they would be but i think warners are going to be a real threat this year they have some very good young kids who know how to take a grab and use it well..any other reports from other games??

I believe that with some clubs having quite a number of defence people in their teams and many of these having ANZAC day commitment's, maybe some of the clubs may have struggled with numbers?

Dawes, Owen Newcastle City reported for attempting to strike an umpire -
UMPIRE: D Spinks(UTF)

Not good enough for a big club City....
