Blease as sub

Would love to see during the year Blease being brought into the team as the substitute player. We all know he has the blistering speed to impact games heavily and with a lack of fitness after coming back from a broken leg a sub role could be perfect for him and the team this year or am i thinking too far ahead and should we wait till next year to unleash him. Would love to hear peoples thoughts on this idea

I tend to agree. He had a great game for Casey from what I hear, and his game-style would suit the Subi ground. I think the question would be WHEN to bring him in. You would want to see some sort of impact, so maybe half-way through the 3rd?

I cant see us starting him, really important for us to get a good start against Wet Toast, and he might not be worth the risk just yet.

A few more solid games and then give him a go. From the Casey player report I can't remember to many times that he has been more then "blease's game was good".

I like him as a sup option.

Havent heard yet on Blease.

Read on Demonland that Petterd flew over with the team, as well as Watts. So my guess would be Petterd as the only inclusion

Cheers, would of been nice for blease to go across even just to be emergency and get a sense of the big interstate trip.

He will get his time soon.

Interesting that both petterd and Watts are their. I thought it would of been a straight swap. We will see at 5pm

Yeah it is a bit weird to see both of them make the interstate trip. Petterd at FF with Watts filling a flanking role? They keep mentioning his improved endurance, i guess Subi will be a test.

The one thing I really dont want to see happen is either of them be used as the sub.

just asked Burgan on the live footy chat on the melbourne website about Blease, seems to be close to selection on the proviso he strings together a few more performances like he pulled out against North Ballarat 2 weeks ago(28 touches). Scorpions had the bye last week so that could have been a factor as well.
