what a cracker jack field.. whiskey n rye would want to be at his best to beat this lot!! i remember he was nominated for the australian guineas as a 3yr old versus apache cat and the likes..

Cant see Haradasun losing if he is 85% +. Only thing that worries me is watching the Apache Cat replay of last prep when he was 1st up. He was under a grip coming round the turn and the field was under the whip chasing.

Good to see two of my fave horses in this race, Apache Cat and Maybe Better.

The race isn't long enough for MB and probably has no chance, but its strange that he is starting his campaign already. Surely they are aiming him at the cup, and that is still three months away. Could be a long spring for him.

have him as the anchor, 1 out in the qauddie and build around that..

Well I've been in great from lately.

Vic Park

1-2 Mr Hefner - Should win this by 8 lengths. Apparently they are using the old style steeples today which won't suit him as much but should still do it easily.

3-2 Tosstestaroan - can turn the tables on Goondi today.

5-6 Sellers - good value, the pace will be on here which will suit but there will no doubt be a query over which side of the straight is faster pre-race. It may pay to see what happens in race 2 before committing.

6-1 Road Worker - As tough as they come, I love this horse. Saw him grind to victory in the wet in Melbourne one day, slow will suit.

8-7 Peacemaker - Very consistent and looks well in here.

LOL.. I was having a chat with a track rider who saw the cat walking to his stall and he mentioned how cold and nervous he looked. The strapper took him for a walk and he was freezing his nads off, he suggested putting a jacket on him

I had a multi with Apache Cat, and German Chocolate in the Rosehill group 3. Capped off a nice day with a $240 collect for $10 outlay.

He's a very round horse. But seems to race pretty top heavy the first couple fresh. I hope they don't try and set him for the Cox Plate. It is quite obvious 1600 is as far as he should go. I thought the trainer had conceded that last season? Hmmm interesting.

I'll be sticking with him and my other fave, Pompeii throughout the spring.

Oh by the way, Apache Cat is a HE not a SHE...for the poster up there... ^
