Ebrietas and the Cainhurst guy were the only bosses to really trouble me.
I think Rom is officially my least favorite boss from any of the games.
I can't develop a strategy for this guy and he keeps one shoting me with his damn magic balls.
Anyone have any advice on cursed amygdala?![]()
Beat Darkbeast Paarl on first attempt yesterday, pretty easy fight but I guess I only found him after getting to Unseen Village (way after Hypogean Jail).
Only really struggled with Martyr Logarius and Rom in this game, the others I've beaten fairly easily and quickly if not on first attempt.

Wait till you meet Paarl's angrier older brother![]()
Is that in a Chalice Dungeon?

Anyone here use the Tonitrus? Is it worth upgrading? I have it to +5 already but haven't really used it as I'm smashing everything with Ludwig's Holy Sword.
If you intend to be heavy Arcane its one of the best weapons in the game.
Ah ok, kinda like the Blades of Mercy then. I'm more a Strength and Skill build at the moment, not sure if I will bother making a 2nd character this close to Dark Souls 3.
Beat One Reborn last night, easy fight. Now on to Upper Cathedral Ward.
Also, when do youkill the pregnant woman at Odeon Chapel? Is it after Ebrietas?
Ebrietas has no effect on anything in the game as she is an optional boss, if you're talking about getting the umbilical cord from Ariana, you don't kill her to get it and that will be available to get after you're done with Mensis
Ah, ok. Yeah that's what I was talking about. I only have one cord at the moment so was wondering when I can get the next one.
you'll get one when you kill the 2nd boss in the nightmare of mensis then teleport to cathedral ward and follow the trail of blood from where Ariana was sitting (I'll leave the rest of it as a surprise)
Don't forget to actually consume the umbilical cords as well, I forgot about that my first run through.
