I’m expecting changes for next season both in players and the SC team. Source, logic.
Lmao we don't use that here.

Anyone know what is meant by a stress reaction? Every step involves stress ??

Is it a fracture or not?
It's what happens just before a fracture happens. You overstress something and muscles and ligaments get torn that result in a fracture happening.

I don't think that covering players such as Cottrell and even Cerra is a great concern. As much as I'd prefer Cerra playing , over the past two weeks I was thinking that we were carrying one too many midfielders anyway. This may delay the coaches having to make a decision on one possibly making way.

Play E. Hollands and Martin as the HFFs. Soon enough Fog and Motlop return and a couple we need to make way.

Missing these players isn't as impactful as having Martin, Saad, McGovern, Motlop and Fogarty unavailable.
Cerra is in our top end which is the issue and one of the better running mids which we are short on. Cottrell would be easy to cover if we had half forwards in fitness and form and we don't. E Hollands yes, Martin still building.

Perfect time for E Hollands to step up

Elijah has already been playing alongside Cottrell and is doing very well.

Next man up at HFF. It is actually time for Cuningham to step up. Oh wait… injured. Motlop? SOS? Fog? Maybe it is time to finally throw Williams forward. Can he run out a full game coming off yet another predictable injury?

Anyone who thinks Cottrell isn’t a huge loss at this point of the season in our current situation is kidding themselves.

Yeh - not like he needs to use his hand.
Could be worse, Renato Serafini had a career ending finger injury when he was at Williamstown. He went up for a mark and had the ball land on the end of his middle finger and drive it down to the top of his hand. He had a nice spiral scar around the finger where they operated to put everything back together.

Imagine a glove with the middle finger tucked right into the hand part of the glove with just the tip out of the hand. And you grab the tip and pull it out.

Not too surprising, it is Cuningham after all. starting to wonder how he ever stayed fit enough as a kid to get drafted in the first place.
Junior level is a lot less intensive than the senior level. Mind you, Kemp did his ACL in his junior year. We took the long road getting him back to playing at the highest level, and he hasn't really taken a step back since.
