Great to hear Bano starting to get back into form...could be another one who will eventually press for selection and could be very valuable for us

Teague added that versatile midfielder Jordan Bannister played his "best game this year" following an unlucky run with injuries in 2008.

"He played at centre-half back and played pretty well. He was very strong and took some overhead contested marks," he said.

"He's missed a lot of footy and missed a lot of the games over the pre-season. He's getting better with each game. He started the game really well and he's starting to feel like he's getting back to 100 per cent fitness."

My guess is Bano would come in before Carlos, but I think the only change will be Stevens will come in for Jamo, at least for the next few weeks. I would not call either of Essendons key forwards monsters, nor do the Swans (Hall on dodgy groins) or the Bulldogs have huge forwards for us to contend with so for now I think our current structure can handle the job. The only other change I can see this week is an attempt to squeeze Grigg in to add more run. We have cover for mids should any get injured this week, with Carrots due back soon and Banister being able to rotate through the middle also we do have huge midfield depth to ensure we can run out games well.

Jamo is only 22 :)

Forgot about banno, he could be a good pick to shut down lucas.

Mchpee being out = good

that's what i'd reckon too. hope that's what we do...except i'd bring in Grigg before Stevens. lucky i'm not in charge ey!

Honestly, I think that we can accomodate for the loss of Jamison this week. Essendon have showed that they lack strong forwards in the last week with guys like Courtney Dempsey kicking goals and Lloyd still goalless this season.

I think that we'll cover Jamo's loss quite easily this week, but depending on the way that Sydney play next week (offensive (interesting) or defensive (horrible, boring, predictable crap)), we could be in a bit of strife.
