Probably the 4th best batsman in the country at the moment imo.

Edit - actually make that 5th best, Hodge is better at the moment.

People may say I'm biased but I've seen alot of his batting this season and he has been very impressive to the point of being one of the frontrunners for the vacant batting positions in the test team.

Fantastic talent.

His bowling is more than handy as well which would compensate for the loss of Symonds handy bowling and just generally provide another bowling option.
