Disappointing as he was heading in a better direction this year. He cannot play last line, he needs to run. Just one step back to go forward though. And don't think he'll be traded, because unless we are able to pick up a decent defender we can't afford to go throwing them away.

As a loose man, like Jacobs, he is very good and provides run. He does not know how to play man-on-man footy. I was down that end in the first and watched him as the ball was being moved forward. He watched the ball and ignored his own player until it was too late. Nick was just start walking away from him and then lead to a spot, by the time Bolts thought to chase his man it was too late!

He ain't a full back. Can hold down CHB against lesser opponents, but will always struggle against the real power forwards of the comp.

i believe we CAN trade him at years end


The "Heffernan" rule was designed to stop Clubs from re-signing players to a contract and then trading them to another club straight away.

But i think you can trade players mid-contract

You can't trade a player who has served less than one year of their contract (assuming it is longer than one year).

We won't be able to trade Pev, PhcMe or Jobe, because they've signed contracts during the season. Anyone else would be fair game, I'd say.
