Don't know about you lot, I am a pretty conservative guy, sensitive, rational with a great sense of justice and can display a lot of empathy when it is warranted.

However, I am glad the crowd Booo-d Goodes, he is a tosser. Cannot stand him. He may be a top bloke off field and a great charity man, but on field, he is Boo bait.

I will Boo him for as long as he plays. (if I am in the crowd and he is opening a new building or launching a new charity, I will Boo him there too*)

As for Lewis Jetta, he now is number two. Imma gonna boo him more!

I think Goodes is a dirty sniping player that has been looked after over the years by the umpires and AFL tribunals.

I think he is arrogant and a bit of a flog and brings the "unwanted"attention onto him self with his carry on.

I didn't boo yesterday, but was highly amused by it and did not have a problem with it. It clearly works to rattle that team and that's what being a hostile crowd is all about.

Gary Stocks put it so eloquently a couple of weeks ago when he said the West Coast fans always give the appropriate amount of respect to visiting teams.

P.S. I could not give a damn if Goodes was black, white or pink with green spots.

I heard it happening from early on in the game yesterday and my first thought was "Oh no. Not this again!!!" Jetta and his war dance didn't help the cause but for what its worth I do agree with what Jetta said in part. I get it that Goodes like to "play it up" a bit but booing him in my opinion is definitely disrespectful.

Being an AFL player his given him a platform in a way to present his ideas about racial equality and all power to him if he is doing it the right way and not physically hurting others by doing it. Is he physically abusing or hurting fans with his stance. ABSOLUTELY NOT

If we play Sydney in a final at home I don't want to see it happen again. Let sleeping dogs lie

Disappointing if true, club needs to come down hard on the people who did it and cancel their memberships.

As for the booing the majority of it was due to the fact Goodes is a knob and has been for years, his race has nothing to do with it. Is up there with Boomer in terms of dirty players.

West Coast coach Adam Simpson said he was surprised the home crowd had booed Goodes.

"I didn't know what was going on there," Simpson said.

"There were a couple of times I heard some booing and thought, 'What was that?' I was sort of hoping we would be better than that.

"I'm sure it's the minority, and for the most part we do respect Adam and who he stands for and what he does."

Simpson said he had no problem with Jetta's celebration.

Eagles veteran Xavier Ellis said the booing of Goodes was "unwarranted".

"I got the chance to play on him when I was a kid and it was one of the highlights of my career, following Adam Goodes around," he said.

"I think it's unfortunate and I definitely don't support it … We've got a fantastic crowd, fantastic supporters. But every week Goodes is playing he gets booed, which I think it's a bit unfortunate."
