Lost by 45 points. Best player by a mile for Hawks was Bo Nixon who was outstanding. Of the Hawthorn listed players Ries and Greene both played well also. Roughy was very rusty in the 1st half playing out of the goalsquare. Switched to CHB for 3rd quarter where he looked infinately more comfortable. Left the ground at 3/4 time and was seen icing his ankle for the last quarter. Looked a bit proppy on the ankle all day.
The Reserves got done also but the good news for Hawk fans is that Boyle,whilst only playing the 1st half, dominated the game. Plenty of strong,one-grab marks and was a class above the rest. Ruory Kirkby also was great,playing at full-back,very impressive.

Also Matt Little was pretty impressive early for Box Hill until he copped a huge knock and never quite recovered.
