Was meaning anyone decent and out of contract is supposedly leaving us. But of course I hope Spud 1 and Spud 2 leave.

Seems to happen a bit down there at Crow land, Bock, Davis, Gunston, Dangerfield, Tippet probably forgetting some, but that is some serious quality.

We should really be able to pick up a quality mid with the appeal of delivering to this forward line and having a very solid young backline not lose one.

Some serious, serious underrating of Crouch on a few boards I've noticed, 2nd rounders and so forth is just laughable, yes the bloke hasn't been AA or whatever, but if you really think IF he does come back to Victoria that he'll only be open to come to one club and therefore you can get him for nothing you're kidding yourself. He will be a jet and not a chance adelaide trade him for anything remotely under his value which is quite high. Won't leave but if he does it'll be for a top 10 pick easy.

Very well put. People have very short memories. Just cos he had 18 months out of the game with injuries, doesn't mean he lost his talent. He is starting to come into his own now, which is perfect timing for Adelaide, and his inside work is elite.

I reckon he'll stay now that he's getting a regular game, was very good on the weekend even though Brisbane suck. Him playing sanfl while Van Berlo and Mackay got a free ride would have been an issue though.

I would expect the return of our core, a somewhat better draw (though $10 says we don't get richmond twice next year) and another preseason = a jump out of the bottom 4.
Hard to predict though. A lot of teams are on even ground outside the top 5-6.

I think dons will be around 8th to 12th ... depends how some players come back from not playing a whole year. Will be pretty rusty.

My info is he did have an issue with don Pyke early on and that was enhanced with his stint in the Sanfl. Started to look at other clubs as publicized, but now he's playing good footy and the team is flying he is more then likely going to stay, but nothing will be done before the end of the year as he is probably adding $30k a year to his contract in value with every game he plays and plays well

Most players would jump at the chance to join a successful club. Playing off in the past 4 grand finals has limited our chance of landing high picks, why wouldn't we look at gun kids from other clubs that may be on the move.
You were linked with Heppell and Hurley earlier this year, does that mean you aren't backing in the development of the youngsters on your list??????

That's ridiculous. Anyone with half a brain knew that Danger was leaving. It was obvious. Sure there were a few that tried to stay positive and believe there was a chance he was staying, but that was the minority. Tippett was a bit out of the blue, and Gunston leaving was the Crows own fault. He shouldn't have been in the headspace where he thought he needed to seek out more opportunities. But he was, and left.

Have you heard of Burton? You club was massively into him.
Also week have one of the best midfielders of the next draft as a father and son.
Add crouch of Mitchell to the mix and we'll be fine. It's Gibson that needs replacing.
