He is suffering from us having a half a dozen small forwards.
Medders was always coming in once fit. There are only so many spots for small forwards.
Dick will get used along the way on a "horses for courses" basis I reckon.

Might be suffering burn-out, in which case a complete break even from VFL next weekend might revive his season. or maybe he's got a bit of OP or something similar.

Agree Medders return will see Dick less utilised. As good as BD can be I would prefer Medders down there in the finals. Might not be as exciting as Dick on his day but we all know that there is no way that Brad will be get away with the kind of run and carry that suits his style in a final. Part of the reason Leon didn't perform in 02/03 was that his game was based on flashy home and away stuff that got shut down big time by the pros in september. Just too much pressure and no space. Need a big hard body who keeps a cool head when the pressure is on, that is most definately Medhurst.

I agree.

This season for Medders reminded me more of his 07 performances where he was struggling with injury and form throughout, as opposed to his 08 performances where he was super consistent all year.

If you guys remember back to 07 Finals Time, that is where Medders really came to town, and he was fantastic in the finals against West Coast and Geelong which really set the stage for his 08 AA season.

Hopefully, history repeats for Paul.

Yes spot on, 07 finals really sold me on him. Stood in the breach in Perth when the Eagles should have run us off our feet. Mick had better play them a replay of that match come finals time as it was absolutely A class and Medhurst was probably BOG or close to it.

I'm assuming you're referring to the greyhound (although I thought they just ran I didn't know they kicked anything) because the stats that I've read say that you're talking out of your a**e (which may well be where your head is), or a the stats and footage that I've seen all wrong.
