Now that he is playing for WC I am not all that sure that I do wish Brad luck. In fact, I probably secretly hope he will break down again. Hate to say it but it's true. Does anyone seriously want him to kick goals against us?

Maybe it's time for you to go back to sniping Lockyer on VFL chats.

Absolutely disgusting to see anyone write something like what you did above. Hopefully it's treated with the contempt it deserves.

I ran into Brad at the local bottleshop on Wednesday night.
He said he was feeling good and looking forward to playing on Monday.
He also said he is so thankful to Collingwood for every thing they did for him.

You should never wish an injury on someone. I still enjoy watching ex collingwood players and I even barrack for them to some extent. I have enjoyed the post Collingwood careers of Shaw, Scotland, Illes, Stanley and many other former players. If Collingwood cant keep them I always hope they can become stars at other Clubs. McCathy is looking the goods at Port this year as well.

You guys are right in criticising me for wishing ill to Brad Dick. What I meant to say is that I would find it very hard to wish him well given that his body always broke down when he played with us. For him to go to WC and enjoy an injury free career after his injury record with us would be very hard to take. Usually, I am happy to follow the careers of ex pies. I apologise for my comment.

How can you wish Brad bad luck? He tried really hard and loved the club and also he grew up a Collingwood fan. I hope he doesnt play well against us but to wish him an injury is just not right IMO.

Still not good enough.

Do you think he broke down on purpose just to piss you off?

When was the election that made you leader?

And FTR, i'd rather brad break his leg than kick the winning goal against us.

Its amazing that people wish ill health upon anyone. In particular Brad Dick who comes across as a really top bloke.

I wish him all the best and really hope he does succeed at West Coast.

As others have said, I enjoy watching ex Pies at other clubs. I even hope J Anthony plays well at Freo..

I miss his head rubbing after each goal, big smile and the massive double handed clapping. He brought so much enthusiasm to the side when he played, and enthusiasm can be such a contagious thing!

I hope he breaks in to the eagles line up this year. Would be a tremendous reward for the effort he has put in.

Easy tiger.

mmd has apologised and deserves a fair go.

what annoys me more is when we attack our own players. I couldn't give a stuff about players when they leave us.

Side by side and it's us against them. These are not just throw away phrases.

Agree with all that. Except for Scotland.

Can't say I got much enjoyment out of Michael's post pies career either.

Can't see him making it TBH. Like Lee Walker and Sean Rusling, Brad Dick does not have a body suitable for AFL footy. He's a great kid but his body either goes at the knees or shoulders. It is just a matter of time and circumstance.

From The West

West Coast rookie Brad Dick has made an encouraging comeback from a knee injury in the WAFL Reserves today, kicking two goals in East Fremantle's 41-point win over port rivals South Fremantle.
Dick was selected by the Eagles in last year's rookie draft after being delisted by Collingwood because of recurring injury problems.
While a return to the AFL may still be several weeks away, the Eagles will take heart from Dick's hitout with the Sharks.
The small forward kicked his two goals and recorded three inside-50s from just seven disposals in a sign he has lost none of the match-winning ability he showed with the Magpies.
He only played a half of football as the Eagles look to build his fitness slowly.
Dick was one of seven goal-kickers for the Sharks, who triumphed 15.12 (102) to the Bulldogs' 8.13 (61).
