Pete is also a Crows fan, the family was absolutely stoked to get out of feral town. The entire family have blue red and gold blood mate.

For the sake of honouring the thread, ill try a serious answer on Symes...

I think most of us expect him to be in our best team next year, playing off the back flank. I for one am excited about him as a prospect, some players have that ball magnet ability which you cant teach, and hes one of them. Also great to get a player whos whole family (haha) barracks for the Crows, and desperately wanted him to be there.

From all reports hes been in the top half for most of everything we've done at training, and so seems to have a solid fitness base already. Hes definetely a player ready to play alot of AFL football.

Nah seriously, as a long-time Crows supporter, i am aware of a guy named Brad Symes from the Port list, who did not too bad for Central this year, and got called up for the AFL Grand Final after Wilson (?) did his achilles. Played 7 games for Port this year, and plays (apparently) at half-back alot, or should, and we swapped him.

In your humble opinions, what are his three strengths and three weaknesses? I want to see what the general consensus about strengths/weaknesses is for him.

Especially since we got rid of Mattner, one of my favourite players cruelly played out of position for a couple of seasons, losing confidence and wanting to leave, until Sydney picked him up, whereupon i think on the smaller SCG he will kick posterior. And my friend just finished housesitting for Mattner's cousin, so that's as close as i can get.
