Yeah ok, like Jo said……Riewoldt and Luke ball will do nicely :D

I would be happy if the Saints gave us Gehrig, we need a solid forward..

Hasus why does it say team supported Bulldogs in your profile? Are you referring to Centrals? Gehrig wouldn't be happy moving interstate!

Hasn't Reilly signed a contract extention until the end of 2007 season?????

I recall his manager saying he wanted to sign on for longer but he advised him against it because he wasn't sure how the new TV deal would affect the salary cap.

Gehrig is finished kosi would be the one to get, hasnt done much to be overrated yet.

Yeh Gehrig only kicked 100 goals last year, he'd be playing in the SANFL if he came here, our forward line is way too strong for a brute like him.

yes you are a moron. If you have been paying any attention this yr, you'd have noticed his back is stuffed and has been moving like an old man. Kosi on the other hand would solve our forward line structure immediately, is still young has so much improvement in him. He is not overrated either. I'm sure the club has learnt from recruiting ageing forwards.

Its rather interesting side you take on Kozi. You had a crack at the AFC for paying a high price for Scotty Thompson because he is injury-prone, yet you would go after Kozi

A bit of a contradiction there I think ;)

ok stiff perhaps you'd like to say which one you'd take gehrig or kosi, its pretty easy.

I had a crack at the price we paid for him, not that we got him. He has picked up very unusual injuries, kosi has had injuries that big men adjusting to afl footy can get. Also at 22ish for a big guy kosi has plenty of time in front of him, its a little different with a midfielder.

My query is not about who would I get. I would take Kozi based on his age and a bit of versatility.

However, Kozi has been as injury prone and Scott Thompson, probably more. He missed almost an entire year due to back injury. He also is known to pick up some unusual injuries. You say its different for a midfielder and I agree but I think injury prone KPP is greater risk than injury prone midfielder.

For arguments sake if we had Kozi he would most likely play as a CHF or a FF. 2 positions that are a lot more demanding on the body because you have people jumping all over you whenever you go near the ball. CHF is the toughest position to play on the field and if we had Kozi thats where he would play. With his injury history he would be bigger gamble than Thompson.

Thats all I was trying to say ;)

dont think kosi would be a gamble, i'm sure you'll find the saints wont be off loading him anytime soon anyway. Everything is a gamble to an extent, and he would be a gamble the club would be willing to take.
I think the club is a bit weary about recruiting injury-prone KPPs ;)

Don't get me wrong Kozi is a fantastic talent and would fit nicely into our team BUT his inury history would suggest he is a bit of a risk.

Of course Saints wouldn't offload him anytime soon but don't forget Melbourne didn't want to lose injury-prone Thompson either ;)

Yes, the finished Gehrig is currently 6.2 in the final quarter against the previous top team in Melbourne.

Will be close to the top of the goalkicking ladder again after this game.

Finished, yep.

I believe you are correct Stiify. Reilly is going nowhere!

hmm.. bet you were waiting out that one. Who was the FB he was against again??? Oh thats right welsh kicked seven on him too. You forgot to mention that melbourne were being flogged too. Ask anyone, kosi is a far better prospect that gehrig.

Kosi may be a far better PROSPECT, but as far as regular performance goes, Gehrig is easily the better currently, and a proven goalkicker. Depends what you're looking for. Gehrig is a deadset gun.
