Sad to see the under-rated SOG leave. A true competitor.

Here he is at the club on family day in the tug-o-war competition:

I think young Brett may have enjoyed just playing for the real Port - The Magpies.
He always looked uncomfortable clad in teal. Never got to play where he played best really either - midfielder through and through.
Well done Brett on a great career ...just the wrong club is all.:thumbsu:

Put the coffee on ma

Was he injured for the 2004 grand final. Didn't he play every game until late in the season?

Played 16 games in 2004... he was dropped in round 18 to make way for Wanganeen coming back in to the side. He was very close to selection, but only so many positions unfortunately.

-------------------------------------------------------------

Just touching on the injuries he has suffered this year:

- a calf tear
- 3 hamstrings
- a glute
- tore an adductor
- strained abdominal
- chronic O.P.

Wow, didnt know. Not that I mentioned any injuries in the first place. But dont tell PJ Power that:rolleyes: He would be hard pressed to make the team if he was fit anyway.

Havent read anything on it. Is he playing with the Magpies next year?

I know I'm supposed to troll him, but I didn't mind him as a player, just couldn't fathom why he was the main forward and not given time to run through the middle.

Didn't have the tank for AFL apparently. Being used as a tall forward though? One of the many the flip? moments I've had over my years supporting Port
