Just a quick one. no one seemed to notice at the game and i havent heard anything, but did anyone see vossy get nearly knocked out v the roos (end of 1st qtr) getting carried off then could hardly run straight but threw the trainers / medico's away to chase the ball and gain an extra 30 metres.twas inspirational.

it supprise me this bloke dosent get more of a wrap in my eyes he and lenny are the 2 most commited at our club (bar harvs) yet lenny gets all this publicity.

can any one tell me if he is in our leadership group.

Just interested in peoples thoughts.

Gday Emmo,

Yeah I was on the opposite side of the ground, but initially thought it was someone else springing towards the ball! He's a gutsy player & quite often puts himself in some dangerous situations. I loved his massive marks he was taking across the half backline a few years ago. He is about 30 though so his pace is probably slowing down a little, so less tackles laid, etc. Lyon doesn't seem to favour him over others, if Vossy did have a bit more height he would be the utility.
My monster-in-law taught him and his brother (forgotten his name ;)) at Orbost primary, said he was a nice young chap. There you go.

Vossy is as courageous as they come. Its just a shame that hes lost some pace and that game has become so athleticism-based that he can't keep up and maximise his ability.
