Probably wont happen but I'd like to see the following in the side this week: Graham, Rance, Collins. Out: Cartledge, McMahon and Edwards. These blokes deserve a go after their fine year at Coburg and it will also give them 'taster' for next year.

Edwards is a kid.

Out: Bowden, Johnson and Cartledge
In: Rance, Graham and Meyer

Nah, don't you realise, it's far more important we farewell useless ha.....er, I mean "loyal servants", than consider the future of the club by giving our kids a taste of AFL, before any live premiership points are on the line again next year...don't be so unpatriotic....:thumbsd:

Exactly right!

How about giving Cotchin more than 55% game time this week.

Let the kid run out a full match and gather 30 touches against the Dee's :D

What a way to boost his confidence going into the off season :thumbsu:

Yes bring in the kids.

Rest the players carrying injuries that need off-season treatment. Get them off the track and on the medical table asap so that their rehab can start asap, giving them every opportunity to have as full a pre-season as possible.

Next season is a defining one for the Tigers - either we return to the September action or its another rebuild.

And it wouldn't hurt to give Meyer Polo Collins Graham Rance a taste of the big time.

Whilst I wouldnt mind seeing some more kids get a taste I would also love to see the guys that have flogged themselves all season have a chance at handing out a good old fashioned hiding and enjoy doing so. I have no anti-Melb sentiment but one of the things we need to learn to do is bury sides that we should defeat easily. Last week was a good example of how we can struggle when we are expected to win yet when there is nothing to lose yet against Hawthorn we play at a different and less cautious level. It would also be great for the confidence of a few to get a really good win to take into 09.
I can't really see the benefit of giving a youngster a single game at the end of the season against a side that are almost at VFL standard anyway sadly. Better for both if they build with their teammates for a red hot go at the VFL finals and the current AFL guys learn a different skill. I think the VFL finals experience for JR, McGuane, White and Moore last year was very influential in their 08.

absolutely, much more than a lousy solitary senior game in R22. There are plenty of youngsters in the current team, they deserve the chance to sign off on 2008 in their own right, polo is the only one I am sorry is missing out, I really rate him but Im not convinced that TW does. I suspect coz he aint as quick as Jacko...would hate to lose him but wouldnt surprise to see his name bandied around at trade week
