Great game, fantastic intensity, very happy with Allan's performance, bloody brilliant to see Rama get that first goal, and I hit the roof when Lucas nailed his super goal!

Our next two games are in melbourne, more than likely at the dome. The lions were the last interstate team left. Looks like we might grab ourselves a plastic cup. Should do wonders for our membership!

Ditto. Essendon v Richmond at the Dome on Sat night would be massive in itself, and even bigger with a Bomber win :p

I struggle to remember if the aints have beaten us any tme in the last 5 years or so...

we OWN them!!!

Honestly, if we put out our team of the century against your little league, they'd wallop us by 10 goals. There's a switch that either turns on or doesn't turn on when we play the bombers, which causes the Saints to play like pansies. Its not just the fact that you guys beat us, most sides have been doing that with monotonous regularity over the last couple of years, but that its a massacre every bloody time.
Still, this time it will be different :p

I think sheeds has only lost 4 times to the saints in 23 years. And we have won something like 36 out of 40 matches against the saints.

I was trying to find the head to head record all time for Saints vs Essendon, without success. Have you got the stats for it?

Yeah I think I remember Mike Sheahan tearing us a new a-hole in the hun the next week, right before we went on our mighty roll...
