Let's hope so.

I have to admit that I'm already preparing for our semi final against either the Swans or the Eagles the following weekend but I'd love to be wrong. The result isn't a foregone conclusion like some people are predicting but we will have to be ready for the step up to finals footy. If we play like we have for the past two weeks it will be ugly.

I think you'll do all right considering "No Lynch No Lions?" You may want to look at our record this year without him and you may also consider the fact that it's a night match and the last match was played in the severe heat of the Brisbane day.

I might have some money on the Saints causing an upset and you can be assured we won't have it all our way like last time and the first quarter heroics from the Saints will continue through the night.

Look for a much better match.

Brisbane Lions are 10-0 in finals at the Gabba.

But i think we can do alot better this time. Talk is cheap, but i hope GT really does have some tactics up his sleeve. I think this time it should be a lot closer,it's gonna be very tough to win, but let's hope we can do it. I reckon Brisbane by 3 goals.

I'll second that. What a pathetic effort. We learnt nothing from the previous game, and continued on our awful form. Thomas has no clue when things are going badly. This year, once we're 30-40 points down, there's no coming back. Thomas has no plan B. It's pathetic. It all comes down to the midfield. They were non-existent tonight. Never got it to the forwards, and put the defence under too much pressure. Awful. Why did Thomas persist with Riewoldt at full-forward when it was never making it down there. He took 168 marks last week. Bizarre.

We know we were bad, but it's great that we can count on you to add insult to the injury of such a loss.

The Saints have some very skilled players and many Lions supporters were quite nervous about our chances before the game. We knew that our approach to finals games would hold us in good stead but we did not expect what followed.
What followed was as awesome a game of football as I have ever seen the Lions produce, and unfortunately your players found it overwhelming.
I remember in our first finals when we would come up aginst North Melbourne the same thing would happen to us. Experience is a wonderful teacher and your team will be around the mark for quite a few years to come, and they will learn to be the hunted.
I think you will find that there are only a very few ungracious Lions supporters, please ignore them.
