I think so. Week break will be great for Hipwood and Andrews plus with sandi out I'd be playing only the 1 ruck

Dockers looking very flat the past fortnight. Desperate for the bye and coming off a six day break and a flight across the country. This is as good a chance as we will have for a while.

The worry is we will allow the Hill boys to carve us up and Walters and Fyfe to dominate the midfield. Hopefully Beams, Rocky and Zorks can all have big games. Also need Stef fresh from the bye to rip in and dominate the ruck with no Sandi.

Definitely feel okay about this one. Dockers look desperate for a break and feel a break will do our boys wonders. I'm expecting effort similar to round one - although I am more hopeful we can deliver at least a 3 qtr effort.

That would be Taberner.... but McCarthy and Kersten have been poo as well these last few weeks.

No one on our board is confident. The 6 day break probably doesn't help as most of our players already look like they need a break/bye.

I would be playing Darcy on McCarthy. His running patterns are pretty good but I don't reckon he will cope well with Gardiners aggression. The Hill boys will test our wingers I reckon with the two way running. Our boys will really need to tighten up when they don't have the ball rather than ball watch or get caught ball watching. Ruck contest should be more even now that the man mountain is not playing. Beams head to head with Fyfe. I wouldn't bother tagging in this game. For mine, just defend when we don't have it and run hard when we do.

I reckon you're spot on. A few years back Darcy lined up on Carlisle when he was playing forward and kept him to one goal. Carlisle is one guy who cannot handle agro at all. I definitely see McCarthy as the same.

Would like to see Robbo line up on one of the Hills, possibly tagging but reckon a full tag isn't necessary. On the other wing I can see Lester getting a run with tight checking the goal. Lester will never keep up in a spint but reckon he could keep either of them off their optimal running patterns which should slow Freo right down.

The midfield battle will be lots of fun to watch. Very interested to see our ins. Wouldn't be surprised if we see Allison debut either.

Agree this is definitely a winnable game for the lions. Fagan will have the boys pumped up for this one. Desperate for a win.
