Yeah, definitely Riccuito.

Quality footballer who is known for catching the umpire's eye.

Benny Cousisn, on fire this year and midfielders generally win the brownlow. I know this has nothing to do with the Brownlow, but he's leading the Age player of the year by 18 votes from Pavalich. The only problem he faces is other West Coast midfielders, fletcher, Judd, Kerr and etc taking votes from him.

maybe i should have put him on the list rather than mcleod

i thought west would have had a few more votes..

Ask me the same question after rd 22. Already one of your choices has broken his leg. You can not predict the brownlow after Round 11.

that's true but you can try, you will also find it hard to predict after round 22, so we may aswell not bother hey, no point on trying to predict anything really is there

Not really id say browny has at least 10 votes and street cant get a game at the moment so why would u make a stupid comment like that

balmey21, Brown obviously can't win with 10 votes, can he? Peter Street, however ridiculous, still has 11 games remaining, in which he could theoretically, again, I'm not saying it would happen, poll 33 votes.

Therefore, Peter Street does indeed have a better chance than Nathan Brown.

As for the poll, my choice is Matthew Pavlich, but he probably won't win. At this stage, Ben Cousins may be leading, but he's got a lot of guys to take votes away from him. I don't see him finishing with the medal. Somebody will have a dynamic second half to take the Brownlow home.

i rekon johnstone has a chance.. polled 3rd in 2002 after a pretty good season and is playing much better now, altohugh if bruce starts to regain form and play punishing football hed be in with a better chance. this is jsut my melb palyers point of view as cousins would have the brownlow at this stage of the season but if johnstone or bruce play good footy and cousins drops a little then a melb player could run over the top..

johnstone is a huge chance, how come he dun feature?

actually meant to put him in definately should have went in before tredrae, west, tuck and brown... it was tough to just name 15 but missing johnstone was a mistake

Brisbane, J. Brown, 3 votes - and the winner of the 2005 Brownlow Medal, from the Brisbane Lions, is Jonothan Brown!
