I was looking on the tab site and noticed brad greens odds to get our most votes for the brownlow were 5.50.

I would think he would almost be a shoe in to get our most votes

Bruce is at 2.60
Mclean 3.20
Green 5.50

anyone else think betting on green is a good bet?

It's unlikely that we're going to get too many votes, so the best thing would be to look at our three wins and the best players in those games, as they are the most likely to draw 3 votes. Not sure how Green went in those games.

Well morton will get the 3 against the eagles for sure
Mclean davey or wona will get 3 against the dockers

And

Green wheatley or miller will get 3 vs the lions

but surely there are other games where our players will poll?

any bets you guys have seen that are good to make for the brownlow?

McLean will get 3 against Freo. Green will get 3 against Brisbane. Miller is a chance to get the 2 votes in both of those games, i reckon he's a decent bet at $15.00

Bruce won't get a 3 vote and won't get any against brisbance so i couldn't see him getting any more then 4 votes. Don't forget to of our games were within a goal so Pavlich & Power will probably get votes in those 2 close games.

You'd think we might sneak a couple of votes from other games and I'd say that Green might be the one player if any to do that.

What price Morton??

What price Morton??
Cale Morton is $4.60 which is any other player.
they are only betting on 4 players and then the rest.
bruce $2.60
Mclean $3.20
any other player $4.60
Green $5.50
Miller $15
Personally green is an absolute shoe in and will increase my multi 5 times which is always good ;)

Does anyone think that Green is a chance for a vote in our second game against the Hawks? He was all over the place and the Hawks forwards weren't very dominant for much of the game. The Hawks midfield killed us in the last quarter but apart from that could Green have done enough for a 1 vote?

I've done a little bit of analysis of our games, not just our wins but other games were we were competitive and it would be possible for someone to snatch a vote in. This is based on bests given in the age, BF player of the year votes(10 being maximum votes) and personal opinion.

Round 3 - Geelong - Yes i haven't gone crazy, if you remember Geelong played almost as badly as we did (mostly because they were on the ground prior to the start for the premiership flag un-furling) and only beat us by 30pts. Bruce was our best player (Age & 10 votes BF votes), he kept Steve Johnson quiet for much of the game as well as kicking 3 goals. Bruce 1 vote

Round 7 - Freo. We all remember this one. BF votes 10 - Miller, 9 Wona, 8 McLean, 7 Bruce. Pavlich kicked 5 goals and might get votes. Miller 3 votes, McLean 2 votes, Pavlich 1 vote

Round 9 - Hawks - McLean was our best in another galant loss by 19pts. McLean had 29 touches, 7 tackles & 5 inside 50s as well as maximum BF votes. Bate was also good having 29 disp, 5 tackles & 6 I50s. McLean 1 vote

Round 11 - Coll - Alright effort for a 21pt loss. McLean again a standout, only bettered by Burns. Brock has 36 disposals, maximum votes on BF. McLean 2 votes

Round 12 - Rich - 22pt loss, the famous 16 minute fade out, other then that we were the better team. Richo will get 3 votes, McLean or Bruce could get votes, McLean 28 touches & 10 BF votes, Bruce 29 touches & 8 BF votes. Bruce 1 vote

Round 13 - Swans - 40pts but mostly just blown away in the last. A few good performances, notably Dunn's tagging job on Goodes & CJs game on O'Keefe. Main standout was Bate with 4 goals. Bate 1 vote

Round 14 - Lions - After consecutive weeks of galant losses, finally a 2nd win by 1pt. McLean looked likely to feature with about 16 touches mid-way through the 2nd quarter before he got injured, he came back but was clearly struggling. BF votes Green 10 votes & 30 touches, Miller 9 votes & 4 goals, CJ 8 votes & 33 disposals, Sylvia 7 votes & 4 goals. Power was prominent for the Lions with 32 touches. Green 3 votes, Miller 2 votes, Sylvia 1 vote.

Round 18 - Bombers - 16 pt loss. Read the match review and remember Sylvia costing us the game, we had a run of goals when Sylvia bombs it across the face of their goals and Lloyd steals it and the game. Still Sylvia was one of our better players with 23 disposals and 3 goals. Morton was also good with 26 touches, 3 goals & 3 goal assists. Morton 1 vote

Round 20 - WC - WC weren't trying, except that they forgot tell Armstrong and he could steal a vote. After leaving this game i can hardly remember feeling worse. But the umpires are required to give out votes still. Morton was pretty good 30 touches, a goal and 17 marks!! That's Richo terittory. As well as the Rising Star nomination & 10 BF votes. Bruce racked up the touches & had 9 BF votes, Green had 8 votes and mopped up a lot along half back. Bruce 3 votes, Morton 2 votes, Green 1 vote.

That's a final tally of McLean - 5, Miller - 5, Bruce - 5, Green - 4, Morton - 3, Bate - 1 & Slyvia 1.

Team total of 24 votes. And that is BEST case situation and very unlikely to happen. Don't jump on me, i was just giving my opinions on games where it was possible for us to get votes. I think it's more likely we'll get less then 20 votes. My money is on Miller to get most votes as he'll surely get votes in both the Freo & Brisbane games

i put 10 bucks on miller with his odds being 15.00

what happens if he draws with another player?

how much do i win?

That comes down to the agent you bet with. Read the terms of the wager. In general your winnings will be divided by the amount of winners but they may return your initial wager as a push depending on who you go with.

Iv got the any other palyer in my multi, what do you think of wheatley (sp). Im thinking about goiong and putting the same one with miller instead because he is at 15 and didnt have a bad year

Bruce, Green and Mcdonald are our only invites to the dinner, i'd have to assume green will be polling rather well for melbourne

Dane Swan didn't get an invite last year when he finished 4th and recieved 20 votes. Votes are confidential and i'm not sure how they do the invitations but it's got nothing to do with knowing who's going to get the votes before the event.

From our invitees it's probably the captain/s and a few other players they expect to do well. I'd be very surprised if it was only those 3 there, i guess we'll see tonight

On a side note the HS today has Brock as our leading vote getter with 7 votes, so i'm guessing they think he'll get either 3,3,1 or 3,2,1,1
