So completely, utterly amazingly perfect. And yet, it's still only my 4th favourite Springsteen song ever.

Yeah, that's the best bit of the song, the end of the bridge building to the solo. All of it comes together and erupts with brilliance.

Bruce played the Hard Rock London Calling (same concert where the Hyde Park DVD is taken from). Played for 3 hours and 11 minutes before the British Police thought it would be a good idea to pull the plug on Bruce AND Paul McCartney because they went past the curfew. What a joke.

Having Tom Morello guest on Tom Joad has been a masterstroke. You're right about If I Should Fall Behind, very moving performance.

I prefer the studio of Empty Sky to be honest.

Yeah very moving, amazing performance.

Tom is also very good on Death To My Hometown.
 
Keep me in the loop Cruyff. I just sometimes get bloody jealous reading those set lists wondering if we are going to experience them!
