Buckley will want the assistant job.

So he can go back to Collingwood later.

I wouldn't mind if he was assistant to Hardwick or Hinkley or whoever the best man is.

From what he said Sat night he wants to coach next year, I can't imagine him backing down to be an assistant at this club.

he's not going to come as an assistant under a young/unexperienced coach, if there's no senior role or not one to his liking, he will probably just defer a year and stay in the media.

After listening to the commentry tonight I'm much more in favour of Bucks now.

And an a couple of interesting comments from Lethal. Firstly he said he would almost certainly not be coaching again.

The second one was about Deledio. He said he was a lot like Paul Medhurst in that he doesn't get much of the ball and is a forward who doesn't kick enough goals for his postion. I'm actually kind of glad he said he won't be coaching again after that comment.

What you don't like people saying as it is champ.

Agree Buckley would walk if the Pies job came up but if we were to sign him up prior to the Pies job opening up he wouldn't have a choice.

Perhaps this is just Buckley raising the stakes with the Pies.

Spot on RT like all these coaches have done in the past using Richmond to get what they want he is just putting pressure the pies.
