thats right, and funny that most ppl agree with it now. At the time we had a certain section of ppl trying to keep up with all that positive crap. Bottom line is it was the saints game that decided it for us.

You have to keep positive jack. If had won yesterday then the hurdle that losing to the Saints had put in front of us would be past us, no doubt that we would have had a very good chance against Sydney next week.

We kicked 5.5 in the last quarter yesterday, the first 4 or 5 shots were all behinds. If we had kicked a little straighter then the game would have been ours.

So disappointing yesterday afternoon; but at least we kept on fighting until the end and didn't just roll over and let them walk all over us once the margin got around the 30 point mark late in the 3rd quarter. We'll get them back next year.

At least you were competitive. After losing that first home final, its very easy for the players to hang the heads in the prelim, start mentally rubbishing themselves and give up, so its a testament to them that they kept fighting out that game until the final siren.

Why Porthos i might have to look at you in a different light.
