Adrian Leijer has just tweeted that Mitch Langerak is going to be making his debut tonight against Bayern Munich.

Huge game for him and his career, lets hope he doesn't do a 'Theoklitos'.

Do us proud Mitch! :thumbsu:

Well I'm pretty damn embarrassed as a HSV supporter right about now.

It would just be embarrassing to support HSV, right?

St. Pauli!

Only let one in in a 1-3 away win :thumbsu:

To be fair, I don't anyone was stopping that Bayern goal. Well done to Mitch though, it must be an exciting time for him. Debut match against Bayern in front of 60,000+ supporters, he couldn't of dreamed of it any better really. :thumbsu:

Apparently his team-mates rushed to congratulate him at the end of the game, he was very good from what I'm reading. Big future ahead of the kid.

Watched the game in a packed pub full of Dortmund fans in Mannheim. Dortmund took their chances well and Bayern lacked quality and luck up front. Langerak was awesome aswell.

mitch didnt have alot to do, couldnt do anything about the goal and made a good save late on, looks confident, the most important attribute when your a keeper

Cant wait to see Dortmund in the Champs League next year. Team had a average age of 22 years of age last night and they still showed such composure. Brilliant team

While we are on keepers in the Bundesliga, Nuremberg's Raphael Shafer has an absolute stormer against Schalke making some wonderful saves to get them a 1-1 draw. Raul & Huntalaar just could not beat him. Was a good game too.

Another clean sheet for Mitch. Good on him.

On Dortmund, this is starting to remind me of 93-94 when Dortmund started building their mighty team of the 90's under Ottmar Hitzfeld. Not many big names [Sammer and Muller among few] but as a team, they were awesome to watch. Lets hope they keep the team for next year and do some serious damage in CL.

Didn't Bayern score a goal last time?

Yeah, Mitch didn't play. The '6 week' injury turned out to only be a week for Roman Weidenfeller.

F*cking hell.

Manuel Neuer not very popular.

What a terrible week for Bayern. Lost to Dortmund at home, lost to Schalke at home eliminating them from the Cup and then losing to Hannover yesterday who are now 5 points ahead of them for the final CL spot. Van Gaal is in big big trouble and if he is still around for the game vs Inter if they get eliminated he is gone for sure.
