I said it before the season started but our wildcard this year is the enigmatic Butcher, he's killing it in the SANFL biding his time & when the time comes should he take his opportunity at AFL level he could be our x-factor going into September.

Our finals chances depend on how we manage our KPP stocks going forward especially ruck wise Jacko & the Hoff our only talls capable of really being thrown into the ruck. Hombsch & Butcher become 2 of our more important back up players to fill KPP spots for the only remaining ruck cover for our most important player Lobbe.

Personally I'd replace Neade with Butcher this week, both players of the future but Shultzy and Westy need a big guy down there to split the two defenders that take Shultz and Westhoff when the high balls come in

I agree, I think he gets too close to the man on the mark and chips high, go back another 5 metres and drill it low. **** it cant hurt!

No more so than playing any of the other SANFL teams we're smacking. If he's match fit he should be right on deck to come in and exploit St Kilda's 'talls'.

I'm hoping the frustratingly obvious need for a tall forward will be what tips him in. He's been kicking goals regularly and he's been the best KPF on the park in every SANFL game he's played this year bar two.

I got that we weren't playing him because we "didn't need him" *chortle* and "the forward line is working just fine" *guffaw* but if anybody who watched the Melbourne game still genuinely believes that we don't need another tall forward, they need to be educated on the matter.
