Hi Guys, I have never been and I think this year I might get off my ass and go. I am looking to buy a single day ground-pass for me and a mate and I just have a couple of questions

1. Is the ground pass for the whole day including night games (if there are any night games on the outside courts?)

2. We are both concession (Uni students) and use our Uni cards as our concession ID. They say somewhere on the site that if you are a concession you would need to prove it or something. How am I meant to do this when I am looking to purchase online? Also what discount would being a concession give you?

3. Am I able to just rock up on the day and buy tickets then.....seems it woudl be easier

Thanks for the help. Really appreciated :)

- Ground pass is all day only. There are no night games on the outside courts. Games finish around 5-6pm I'd say.

- You can buy tickets on the day, however there might be a line up (there was a huge one on day 1) But if you are going by the MCG, they have a ticket booth at Gate 1 (right next to the footbridge) where you can get tickets. No line up that way.

I don't think you actually need to have an 'After 5' ground pass to watch the later matches on outside courts.

Lots of matches finish later in the evening (even though they are part of the day schedule).

There are no concession ticket prices for the ground pass, only rod laver arena and hisense (though the discount is small).

Purchasing a ground pass at Melbourne park will cost you $34. This allows you to stay as late into the night as you like. I can guarantee you there will be matches on the outside courts til 8-9, possibly even later. (last night there was a match on court 18 that finished at 11pm)

There is a night match on Margaret court arena & the ground pass gives you access to that. The match starts at 7.30 and try and get in there before that time because it could fill up quickly. Lucky for you tonight its a great match between baghdatis and wawrinka. One of the matches of the day.

I suggest to buy your ticket online. U can get a mobile ticket, so u just scan your mobile at the turnstile and get in that way.

Go to grand slam oval if you like a beer and watch some tennis on the big screen, look around the smaller outside courts and there might be a close match happening.

If you have any more questions feel free to ask.

Thanks for the help guys especially Pepsi
If I buy tickets online would I pay using a credit card or something?. I'm 19 and don't have a credit card lol although I could ask my parents for theirs
