Fall Out Boy

It's time for everyone to say a heartfelt goodbye to the imposters formally known as the Perth Wildcats.

Anyone got a broom?;)

Don't let the door hit your ar$e on the way out.

Bless you Tigers.

The era is over

:D

How sweet it is Phat&phreaky......commiserations Jod, it's no shame to lose to a Sydney based team in the finals...

If you could be so kind mate, just put your famous 'Jod: Kiss of Death' on the Titans for the rest of the playoffs, cheers :)

As for what occurred at the Powerhouse this afternoon, it can be summed up with one word: JUSTICE.

The little prick who cruelly knocked us out of last year's playoffs, Damon Lowery, had a wide open 3-point shot with about 5 seconds left to tie the game, but it was nothing but iron as the Sixers advanced to a meeting with our old sparring partner, the Victoria Titans.

I feel like singing, anyone who knows the words can join in!

NA NA NA NA, NA NA NA NA, YEAH YEAH YEAH GOODBYE!!!!!!!!

Hmm something not quite right there, maybe this one sounds better!

NA NA NA NA, NA NA NA NA, OH HELL YEAH!!!!! GOODBYE!!!!!

Well we lost, we played badly at the wrong end of the season and i wouldnt be surprised if the Titans "accidentally lost" so they didnt have to bump into us later.

The Era is by no means over P&P, we still hold the ongoing record for consecutive playoff appearances, we last won a title in 2000, just 2 years ago and Rogers, Feaster, Grace (who by the way gets better with age) will all be back next season. Harvey will be healthy finally and it still isnt certain that Vlahov will retire.

We'll be back next year.

Now im left with actually going for WSR...cant stand Adelaide and the Titans and Tigers are from melbourne so enough said.

The Titans "accidentally lose" ?? Defeats the purpose of getting home court advantage dont it, especially since now its handed over to Adelaide.

I'd think the Titans would be concerned no matter who their opponent was, bad things can happen in the playoffs, such as the second team getting KO'd by the fifth team. Adelaide are a dangerous unit, and shouldnt be taken lightly, especially when they are on fire. Unfortunately, they've been too inconsistent. But then again the first team lost the series to the sixth team, and the second team lost to the fifth.

Well in my opinion, despite the fact the ladder suggested that the Titans were head and shoulders above tre rest of the field, i feel that all top 6 teams were very close and anybody can win as shown by the top 2 teams falling in there playoff series. One of the most even seasons in years.

Believe me Jod, there is not a chance in hell that the Titans would have even considered throwing the series.

1) We've lost our home court advantage
2) The team we fear the most would be the Melbourne Tigers
3) The team we hate the most would be the Melbourne Tigers

Beating the Tigers and sending them out of the playoffs would have been magnificent. The rivalry between the two teams is enormous. If we are lucky enough to advance past the Sixers to make the Grand Final series, we will more than likely have to overcome the Tigers and they have been able to consistently beat us. So in response to what you said Jod, the Titans would be more concerned with the Tigers (and Sixers) before Perth.

The ledger is even from here on in. Each team has a good chance to make the finals. Titans are still, IMO, the best team, though as has been proved they are beatable and might be down on confidence after losing the series against the Tigers and the home court advantage. In the playoffs, its one game at a time, you dont think forward to who you will face, because you might not win.

Heh...i was just playing with ya's. No team i would hope in todays game would tank a series. Plus home court advantage is too valuble to throw a game. It annoying that since Perth were 4 - 10 we have a won a **** load of games with only a couple of losses. The Titans have been winning a whole lot from start to finish and then in the space of a week we lose 2 straight and then the Titans lose 2 games and thats that were out. :( Pretty disappointing but we'll be back next season.

Carn WSR :D

Fair enough Jod,

To climb from where Perth did on the ladder and to finish 2nd was a great achievement.

It just goes to show how different the playoffs are and as a Titans fan I know about that too.

Yes you certainly do....Playoffs can be heartbreaking cant they...

Haha Jod. Bye Bye Perth.

Carn the Tiges! I don't support you during the season, but when we win a playoff game, I become the most passionate supporter ever.

Chin up Jod,
Yes our beloved Cats are gone and (IMO) were lucky to sit 2nd on the ladder after the regular season. With our excitement machine - J Harvey out for most of the season and a career threatning injury to our rebounding machine - A. Vlahov, it was only a matter of time before a fully fit unit over ran us.

Congratulations to West Sydney and I wish them well in the remaining finals.

I think the remaining finals will be won or lost in the guard division. Gaze & Copeland, DMac & Smith, Farley & Maher, Rucker and Rillie - heck there is some talent amongst that lot and it will depend who can fire offensively and defend their arse off on the same night if their team is to win.
