Here's one for the mighty Blueseum. What is the most number of changes we have made to the side, and then won? Six would have to go close, assuming of course that we win on Friday.

Good question, and one for our stats buffs.

I like your assumption assumption, from an economist's point of view.

The Blueseum does not have a handy answer to your question unfortunately. Let's see what happens on Friday night and perhaps then we can pursue the question.

Has this year been significantly higher overall for number of changes? Seems like our whole backline has been changing week to week plus plenty of other injuries.

* bump *

At the risk of partially answering my own question, we had a phenomenal TEN changes between round 22 2008 (v Hawthorn) and round 1 2009 (v Richmond).

Outs: Anderson, Armfield, Austin, Bentick, Fisher, Grigg, Hampson, Pfeiffer, Stevens, Walker

Ins: Betts, Garlett, Hadley, Jacobs, Jamison, Johnson, Joseph, Robinson, Scotland, Wiggins.

However, for changes WITHIN a season, I'm guessing last Friday's six changes must be close to a record.

Over to you again Blueseum.
