just thought you guys would be interested in knowing what transpired in a short conversation i had with cam bruce on wednesday.

i just asked him whop he was tipping for the spoon and his answer was alogn the lines of "its too early too tell really... but that said, richmond!" <-- music to my ears


also i asked him how he thought carlton would fair and he said much better because he thinks Nick Stevens will be a massive boost and he called Brett Ratten a gun!

okay that said i now wait for tigers supporters to bag us and this thread

I actually heard last night that Cam Bruce has hurt a ligament in his knee and will be out of action for up to 6 weeks

When Ratten was at Melbourne, Neale Daniher and co were a huge rap for him. Apparently he was very instrumental in improving Melbournes midfield, and there playing group had the upmost respect for him.

The similarities between him and Worsforld are frightening. Club legend goes back to old club to help get them off the bottom of the ladder. Not only has the respect of his football club, but the entire footballing community.

Also, they both have/had very young lists to work with.

Both never shirked an issue and were as tough as teak. Although Rats was not the brutal assassin Woosher was, you pretty much had to break his arm to have him leave the field - and then he'd be spewing he wasn't sent to a pocket to rest.

cam is a part owner of the gym i go to. my trainer is another partner. as i dont see cam often i can ask my trainer for details.

i havn't seen anything out Cam Bruce getting any injuries

Westy's_Warriors is correct Cam Bruce has indeed injured the medial ligament in his knee but should be back for round 1(i heard it on SEN in the news update) i will never doubt you again Westy

Chris Connolly said Bruce is 50-50 to play the first NAB cup game but most likely won't because there is no point in risking it. So he will defienitly be 100% by round 1.....
