Rumour Cameron Cloke delisted?

My dad is telling me that has heard from a good source that Cameron's been given the flick...

I believe Port have shown some interest in him?

It's possible he's taken up the supposed 2 yr offer from Port allowing us to delist him.

If he played 10 games this year he had the choice of a 3rd. but if he wants he could reject that choice and walk. Which means we take him off the list.

There's been a few rumours on all Carlton forums boards about this. Interesting to see if it's right.

Pick up Scott Simpson from Geelong to replace him if that's the case. Young 19-20yo (next yr is his 3rd yr) KP tall who can't get into Geelong's team and been taken off the list. Kicked 8 or 9 against Williamstown this year in the VFL. Sure Geelong will rookie him if he's not picked up. He's a pretty big boy.

Both are one club players who played over 100 games and the other also near 100 games.The other is as good as both but he isn't contracted like Wiggins and Wiggins is more Carlton in my opinion. I only hear more good things on him.

On a purely onfield perspective there's not a chance that Cloke would be delisted and Fisher and Wiggins retained, meaning if they are going to delist Cloke there must be some huuge off field problems, so big that we probably would have heard about them

I'd be surprised if this was the case. Cloke will never be a world beater, but he gives it his all, and I reckon he could be a better player now that Fevola has gone, and he will get more ball directed to him in the F50.

Fisher contracted and only had 1 poor year not 2 or 3,they wouldn't have gave him 2 years if he was poor.Wiggins and Cloke is a toss up but they all love Wiggins by the look of things.

If the guy gets shafted purely on form and Fisher stays then this would be an absolute joke, Fisher could do nothing right in the VFL GF, Cloke kicked a bunch of goals (5?)
I hope Cam can shine through next year and prove all the haters wrong, he may not have the speed but he has the body to muscle his way in there

I would be gutted if this is true. Completely gutted. Cops a lot of shit, but last year was his first year since comming accross that he actually plyed in his proper position(forward not ruck). There is no doubt that he isn't mobile enough to play as a lead up forward, but he can play deeper. The way fev demanded the ball Cam couldn't find a spot in the team. Then when we played against port, after playing in the ants as a forward, he was chucked back into the ruck (he is too short!!!).despite this He was very servicable. Was good against Brisbane and was probley the best blues players in the ants GF. Port would be getting a bargain. Don't be dumb Carlton/Cam.

I will always remember Cloke in that close Hawks game last year running with the flight of the ball, completely miss timing the flight allowing the football to smack him right on the noggin’!.....and then thinking god dam is he our CHF – if so we have no hope as a team!

Would love to see Cloke, & Wiggins gone! Have never liked Cloke and unfortunatly poor old Wiggins, just doesn’t have it!!

Agree with this 100% BB25. Why would he go to that shithole when, for the first time in his days at Carlton he can actually make a name for himself now that "you know who" has buggered off. I hope he is given a decent go at playing deep in the fwd line and can prove all the his critics wrong.
