I know he is young but I really have my doubts on Cam. I just don't think he is suited to todays football. I would like to think Cam won't be getting a spot in our best 22 for the rest of the year. Unless he shows more agility and skill on ground level- I would be more than willing to trade.
Your thoughts please...

From all reports he has shown good form at willy one of the few players that show real aggression at both the man and ball, we need a new intimidater and if he improves his wind take he could be a very handy crash n bash 2nd ruck option.

I still think Cam can be useful as a backup ruckman/forward, as his physical play can add a certain dimension to our game. Once Anthony retires, we might need that presence.

I would like to this his younger brother Travis could play that role.My only concern is that once Wakelin and Presti retire,we may be forced to play Travis down back, hence we would require Cam to fill a forward role.Personally i think our next recruit whether it be a draft pick or a player from another club should be a young CHB.

thats why i wanted to trade cole for ted richards last year rather than a draft.
i reckon he'll be a top chb over his career, i really reckon we missed out on not wanting him and it may bite us later on

C2 could be a solid second ruck and forward option. But if Richards stands up as he has shown signs of doing, I cant see how he will get a regular game for Collingwood. The only ruckman or forward anywhere near the end of his career is Rocca, and we have Rusling and T Cloke ahead of Cam in this position.

That leaves Cams only potential as a CHB/FB. Can he play CHB? Dont think so.

I think C1's career is nearing an end, while C2 may in future years find better options at another club lacking talls.

Cam will only improve. He turns 22 at the end of this year, so for a big man that's pretty young.

Cam is starting to take control of games at Williamstown. He and Lawry look very dangerous in the forward line. I think his ruck work has improved massively over the summer.

It's only time before Cameron is back in the Collingwood team. He will be a very handy key forward-cum-ruckman.

Out of the Clokes, I think Jason is in trouble. He may need to find a new club for opportunities.

Cam is a good back up ruckmen in case our stocks get depleted, and he dominated last week at willi!

I think like many young players he needs to lift his work ethic, and i think within a couple of more years he will be servicable! was defintely worth the 3rd round pick, and i dont think he will be goign anywhere!

Three words for Cam Cloke 'not good enough'. It's that simple.
Ithink if either Cam or Jason get a game then it shows we are struggling or have injuries. Neither of them are in our best 22.

Both should be delisted at years end

Strangely, I reckon Cam's only oportunity is to knock Travis out of his position.

Cam's too slow for CHB (not to mention discipline issues).

But Travis comes across as an excellent defensive option. Good pace for a 195cm player, and very good work ethic.

Whilst Travis is impressing, he's hardly setting the world on fire, and indeed, his main focus is to ensure a difficult match up for the oppo, including attracting a tall and luring him away on the lead, so as to leave space or Taz/Rock one out. I see no reason why Cam can't play this role too, with his brother cutting his teeth filling in for Old Man Wakelin or Prestinjuricomo.

Worst comes to worst, both of them go ********. So what? Are we flag faves?? Mix it up with a view to assessing/strengthening the future.

I reckon simply that Cam is an old style player (big, aggressive, physical, slow) playing in a new style game that needs mobile big men who have good skills.

The day of the dinosaurs is over!

Cameron's in trouble.

I think he will survive but he needs to improve considerably to get into the best 22.

Fraser and richards are the preffered ruck combo and should be to.

Cam is slow and so poor below his knee's its not funny.

Jason is definitely gone.

I'm happy to have Cam on the list for a couple more years yet. Darcy and King had to be developed.

The lad seems to still have puppy fat on him (well on tv anyway).

My only query is his disposal under preasure, seems like the game maybe to quick for him.

Anyway, time will tell. Good luck Cameron

Those hoping for him to be delisted will be unhappy come the end of the year, fact is if a tall forward falls over atm he is next in line, ditto if Richards or Fraser goes down

Wouldnt be shocked if he got brought into the side when we play Geelong for instance if King is playing

Fact is Cam and Jase are great players to have on your list, not everyone on a list of 38 is going to be a star and if you keep delisting decent players then you will be stuck with no depth

Really outside our current 22 the only talls are Cam and Fanning so you would be stupid to dump him or say he is finished

If in 2-3 years time he hasnt improved and we have developed some players to overtake him then fair enough, but you dont dump a 21 y.o like Cam when you have no one else on the list as surely Walker and Hall will be gone come years end

It might not be the clubs choice. If they don't get games then they will probably asked to be traded. Jason may not have any takers but I am sure cam would

Handy backup ruck/forward. Can take a contested grab which is very handy.

Definately worth keeping as he is young and should develop further.

Jason Cloke I don't think is all that bad, but it's probably mutually beneficial if we let him go elsewhere to play.
