Looking from the outside he is one of the more dissapointing Melbourne players recently. Geez when was the game that Bruce had an impact in. To be honest i dont rate him at all.

Hes been consistent this year, picking up plenty of possesions and has looked like hes interested at least.
But hes not the star we thought he could turn out to be, he doesnt lift the team with courageous acts or moments of brilliance.

He's a very good utility and will best be used as a tagger on star players when we have Johnstone, McLean and Jones in full flight and leading the midfield

Although Bruce has had plenty of the ball this year I reckon his disposal has been atrocious. Hasn't consistently hit targets - i'm not sure if his kicking style has changed but he's muffed it a bit.

He is likely to miss this week isnt he.
I know they often use him as a tag like Hawks use Hodge but I have always thought he plays good footy in front of the ball when its coming down quickly to him.
If I was Neale I would be playing Neitz, Bate, Davey, Bruce in the fwd half and pusing everyone back to centre.
