Good riddance? No way. :(

He's been a fantastic player for us. A premiership player infact.

Unfortunately for Campo, our club is taking a tough stance on older player's contracts. Its understandable really. If we're to fix this club, we have to make the tough choices.

As I've said throughout the year, no hard feelings Campo. I wish you all the best at your new club. Just don't go to Collingwood... :p

I believe Campo is and has always been his own worst enemy. He has tremendous ability but has rarely been level headed and will not go down as one of the champions of the club. Williams, Bradley, Ratten even Fraser Brown yes but not Campo. He could have been a great but never consistently played with a full passion. IMO his general demenour has not been positive for those around him.

Campo will struggle to get paid more at another club then he's been offered by Carlton and everyone knows it. The mere fact that he's willing to accept less just to play at another club, and wanted more to stay, says alot about the guy. Goodbye and good riddance.

It,s the signing of Fevola for 450,000 that has caused all of this trouble if he was getting a reasonable amount the other players would accept a cut but when he has a terrible year and gets a 200,000 pay rise it gets the other players backs up, just another example of Fev creating unrest at the club

Fevola at 450k is much more sensible than the 600-700k Campo got a few years ago. Back then he should have got about 400k max and perhaps then Hamill could have also got 400-450k instead of the 300 offered. If we were really smart we would have offloaded Scott back then when his value was higher and kept Hamill. Also believe Fev will be better focassed without Campo around the club.

I agree with that. A shame, but he's not setting a good example and it's probably time for him to go anyway.
