Can’t justify a new thread - still want to post it though, (Part 2)

Hi guys, just had a look at the fixture again and cant help to get angry about our Round 9 fixture in Perth against Fremantle on a Thursday, after playing Geelong on a night game only 5 days earlier.

Don't think many other teams play off a 5 day break (maybe 3-4) this year, but none have to travel, let along to Perth.

Will pretty much be an impossible game for us to win. Very annoying, especially if the Geelong game ends up being a grind (which is likely).

We'll be fine.

Not disagreeing with you. But notably, when we needed to get back in front of Brisbane in the dying minutes of the 2023 GF, it was the cream which delivered. Even Fly made the point that three of our highest draft picks were involved - Pendles, JDG and Nick (with a little help from Cox).

No argument that goal was vital.

Just thinking about how expanding the amount of teams in the competition further (Tasmania) is going to make success even more dependent on keeping your best players fit.

When lists don’t bat as deep and your replacements for injured players aren’t as good, your season is screwed with an injury to your best players.

The more teams, the worse this issue is.

Bit harsh, old tradional club,i understand they are financially stable. They have done ok historically for a small club. Not a popular opinion, but, truly believe a tasmanian club will be a perinial basket case, finacially and footy outcomes.

Im a little biased, as wish somehow, fitzroy were still an afl club.

Lachie Schultz was doing the Jamie Elliot tattoo in a recent video and is left handed.

I thought I saw Ned Long grabbing a texta post game to sign footballs, in his left hand.

I also thought I may have noticed Ed Allan. Otherwise all our players seem to be right handed.

I'm going to put you in the Rester spreadsheet because I feel that post warrants a rest. What on earth prompted your passion for left handed people. If it helps I'm right handed but when I'm reeling in my fishing rod, I reel with my left hand. Oh God, I think I need a rest myself
