As a Swan's support i'm hoping Adelaide can win this week but what do Adelaide fans think.

Of course we can win this week but not quite sure if we will. :(

At this stage of the week I will be picking Melbourne win and win easy, 6 or 7 goals.

Any week you go out onto a footy field you can win a match.
Don't be too surprised if the Crows turn things around this week. We've been beaten by sides that have run games out when we haven't. But we haven't been beaten by much. We've lightened off our training and maybe we'll get the run back into the legs we've been lacking.
There's a lot of doom and gloom around here from a bunch of front-runners. Watch how the tune changes if we win against the Ds and win our 1st final.

Well, we'll probably go in as underdogs for the first time in a while at home. Melbourne haven't been travelling that smoothly either but with Pickett and Davey back plus Neitz returning they will bring a pretty solid team across.

We can win. We've played averagely for the last few weeks but have only been a goal or two off the pace in most games. Can we have a few home town umpiring decisions please?

Melbourne's form coming in is not exactly sparkling either -

  • threw away a 38 point 3rd quarter lead against the Cats in R21
  • Given a decent first half square by a struggling Kangaroos team in R20
  • Touched up by Sydney at the MCG in R19
  • Rolled by Carlton in R18

Damn, that's some ordinary form. Pretty much on a par with ours, although we didn't lose to Carlton.

Well with September upon us, it is time to change. I am confident in a win, all be it we have been crippled once more by injury, but out of some bad, some good will always come. We will survive, we will triumph. This is a great opportunity to show what mettle we are made of. Adelaide by 4 goals in a tight, but free flowing contest.

I'm expecting plenty of fumbles and handballs to a player under intense opposition pressure from 3-4 players. But then again, I'm always this pessimistic this early in the week after such a demoralising loss, and then having to cope with the loss of hentschell for 2 years as well.

We are in disarray at the moment Moni....:(

Losing to a crap club like Port Power is definately a season low point for any team.......but where there's life - there's hope - and I'm confident we can bounce back....:thumbsu:

West Coast got thumped by Port this year, Fremantle got smashed by Geelong in Perth, Sydney this year have lost to Essendon and Port, Melbourne have lost twice to Carlton, St.Kilda got smashed by us and West Coast in Melbourne and wouldn't know how to win a flag anyway, Collingwood lost to Essendon and the Bulldogs also lost to Port.

We'll be right.

Two ways of thinking about it. It's detrimental to out club, and we can't push through this. Or that it is an opportunity for someboyd else to stake their claim for the rest of this year, and for next year. The less you think about Hentschel, the better. And I hope the footy club think of it the same way, otherwise, we're gone.

We will win. We will also win our home QF final against Freo.

Freo coming into their 2nd final in 12 years on a 9 game winning streak in front of a pumped up Adelaide crowd.

We had a 10 game winning streak coming into the finals did we not? Freo can stumble, and they will.

Agree on this ICDM.

I think Freo might be better off than a "normal" team coming into only their 2nd final ever..... They have played games that were very much finals like (yesterday's 1st qtr was brutal for them) But i think we are still a chance to beat whomever comes over for the QF and prelim.... after that, its anyone's game!!!!

Does anyone else think Huddo should get a game this week, or leave it be??

If we lose the QF then I might start getting a bit worried/depressed/violent.

To be honest I haven't really been following him in the SANFL *cower*

If he's right to go get him in there ASAP but apart from that, Clarkey did well on the weekend and the unpredictable Biglands with his stupid fluke goals are good enough I spose. :o

Depends on selection If Roo,McGregor and Huddo come in now is the perfect time for Biglands to go foward is Bass comes up and Massie/Torney are thereabouts no reason why we cant turn this around
