Watching a replay of the last quarter of last nights game Polak kicks the all important first goal, shows brilliant vision to cut back inside and switch the play to Joel Bowden for the second goal, also sets up one more for Newman later on in the quarter. Then there was his 100m chase on Lovett-Murray whilst he was never really going to catch him, he put a enough pressure on to cause a poor kick.

He was pretty much playing catch up last pre-season as he came to the club as the least fit player, but he should get himself extremely fit this time. Where does everyone see him lining up for the Tiges in 08?

He is close to anyone in the game as an all round utility IMO, can be used at both ends of the ground as well as a mobile ruckman. Can he be a star? Who knows, it's all up to himself now and how hard he is willing to work in the pre-season.Needs to improve his long kicking for goal if you want to be picky!!

He's had a good first up season all things considered.

I think his best chance to make it is as a CHB - let him spend the pre-season getting a much better fitness base and following Richo wherever he goes.

There's good skill there regularly, but a bit more heart and passion wouldn't go astray. He also has a tendency to really drift out of the game for substantial periods...no doubt fitness is playing a part in this, but it seems partly mental as well.

He's never going to kick well enough to be anything more than an occasional forward when we can afford it.

All up, I think he was a very handy pickup.

Needs some more strength too. But this will hopefully be an extremly good preseason for him.

I believe he can be a star. But as Rayzor said he probably isnt strong enough mentally

Has been really solid for us this season and mainly as a spare parts man.
As the guys said, with another pre season under his belt will surely live up to his high draft selection.
He and Rodan have been the recruits of the season.

Polly will only get better with another solid preseason and some serious kicking coaching. He could be a monstrous defender for us in a couple of years.
