The games to win would need to be Melbourne North Carlton Richmond and Brisbane. This has accounted for losses against the Dogs and Swans.

Murraj1966 - I think even if the rest might look "plausible" with the help of some "medication" 
- I don't see how we can beat Sydney. Sydney beat the saints at Etihad with a 80+ points margin last year. To suggest that saints can beat the Swans in Sydney is stretching it a bit.
But yeah.. rest of it looks "Good". I particularly like the ending

Finals experience is invaluable to the young kids who have never experinced that kind of play before. So yes it would be something to aspire to.
That said, just look at the percentage we would finish with anyway. Thats not one that says "we are a healthy team" and will go nowhere in september. We dont have a backline that can hold up to it this year plain and simple.
Keep the kids rotating, iron out the game plan and mental deficiencies and hit pre-season hard to load up for next year.

The odds for us to play finals were never good, but they blew out enormously after the loss to GC and blew out even more when we struggled to put cellar dweller Essendon away. Our percentage is shit. To play finals now would require us to win one more match than the second most successful team on same level as us and North have to cooperate by losing the requisite number of matches. Doesn't sound impossible but I reckon its the same scale as "what are the odds of being hit by a falling satellite and surviving?".

Agree. I think it would be bad if we made it too soon.
The club might be conned into thinking of trading away an early draft pick for another mature player in the mistaken belief we are ready to challenge.
Could be counter productive. Think North and Richmond.
