i know for a fact that right now im not the only one on this board or the only supporter that cannot wait for the first bounce on saturday. we've seen time & time again when we've been written off we come out all guns blazing! my feelings at the moment is excitement mixed with nervousness, i haven't felt this way since the 2011 Grand Final. how will the players respond? will the crap fueled onto the fire from the week play a role? one things for sure, i am PUMPED! :D
 
Mate im pumped, ill be ecstatic if we can win, i dont care by how much, i jjsut want to win.
If u think about it, a big win puts us in the top 8, with all this crap happening, we deserve something to look upon us.
we will come out breathing fire, our fans have to be in full voice, lets stick it up to everyone thats writing the Collingwood footbal club off.

yeah you watch if we win by a fair bit it'll be like the pre season game against saints this year, back to the collingwood of old (2010) :rolleyes:

Yeah, by 2010 replica, I meant a team that plays well, runs hard, plays for each other etc etc, that demolishes port on Saturday.

But yeah.

I'm still concerned the Friday night team will come out though.

I am too mate, especially since we have 5 changes to the team. I remember reading somewhere that no team has won a game with 6 changes. I wonder what the stat's are for 5....?

Will we gel as a team?

Friday night we lost 2 A greaders by mid 2nd Q. We got within 10 pts but then were smashed. It was inevitable to a degree. However it has ledto way too much pessimism. Playing Port in Melb is a match we should win. We have too much top end talent to drop a match like this

Give it a couple of weeks and most will be looking at Collingoods prospects far more positively. Go Pies
 
If you saw our injury list now before round 1 and the form of the teams we have played would you take 2-2 after round 4..?

Bloody oath I would! Huge game for us, very confident we will win.
